Colourcreate Challenge...
Afternoon Ladies....
My card today is using the lovely colours of Pistachio Green, Aqua and Powder pink for the Colourcreate Challenge.
The sweet little girl was a free download on the 'Nutshells' blog when they started a few weeks ago. The sketch for this card is sort of based on the 'Just Magnolia' sketch this week and I will be showing you the card I made for that tomorrow.
I have enjoyed my 2 days at home this week...bit of cardmaking...bit of Wimbledon...bliss!

Tilda with slate...
Hello all...Phew... it's a bit warm isn't it.
I have stayed inside today and continued with my teacher cards.
Thanks to Saskia, who left me a comment, on yesterdays card, with the link to the challenge blog that has school cards as the theme this week.
So here is Tilda with her slate...I knew she would be well used at this time of year!
I have been working today in my newly arranged room. The table is under the window now so I have lots of light and more space since my tidy up.
The paper is from a Designer pack from QVC and I'm really pleased with the way it has matched up with the blue uniform and red apple.
Another day of being at home tomorrow to look forward to and then it's school the rest of the week...Hot, Hot, Hot!

Teacher card
Hi Bloggers...I hope you are all having a nice Sunday...
I have been sorting out all my craft stash and have been changing everything around in the kitchen and diningroom/craftroom.
Prompted by the thought of summer visitors wanting to come visit and go to the beach, we needed to get the sofa bed somewhere where we could actually pull it out, so the sofa and the breakfast bars are back in the kitchen and the table is back in the diningroom so my craft things will have to be condensed for a while.
It's worked out well as I have found a few things un-opened and I do feel as though I know what I have got now. It was getting out of control and a bit of a dumping ground.
I even managed to make a teacher card using this lovely sentiment sent to me by Mandy Gill. Thank you so much, Mandy!
we are taking the girls for a walk and play in the beach park this afternoon so I must carry on with the sorting...It's a slow process.....Bye for now.

Tea on the Field...
Hi all...Just thought you might like to see some photos of 'Tea on the Field' which went very well. Lots of new parents came for a cuppa and some cake.
This is some of the committee setting things up. We all get on and enjoy working together.
You can see in this picture the Storyteller chair and benches that were a recent purchase from the fundraising account. The trees and a woodland walk area were also paid for by the Parent committee.
I have been working hard on my NVQ this week but I get a bit of time off over the weekend as both the girls are in a gymnastics display so they go to a final rehearsal in the afternoon. Will show you some of the finished bookmarks and some magazine commissions...fingers crossed.

Just Magnolia..Summer
Hello to you all...I have made a card!!!!
How nice to be able to get back into my little room and say hello to my stamps and promarkers again.
My card today is this lovely Tilda dipping her toes in the water and is for the 'Just Magnolia Challenge' where the theme is 'Summer'
I couldn't decide what she should be sitting on so I drew in a wall but I think I will try something a bit more seasidey next time. I am Bunting mad at the moment...just think it looks so lovely on cards.
I am only at home this morning as we are doing 'Tea on the Field' for the New Parents and children this afternoon.
Hope you are enjoying the sun and getting some crafting done!

Summer Fair
Good Morning All... Just a few photos to show of the Summer Fair which was on Friday.
This is a Windmill Cake for the guess the weight stall. The Windmill is the school emblem as we have a very old one in the village.
This is all the donated cakes bought in to the staffroom at 9am and Mrs Root who had a lovely time on the stall with them.
The hampers made for the Raffle.
A view of the field and white Elephant stall.
The Fire Engine, which did close it's shutters and race off after about 45 minutes but no sirens!
This is my little one just deciding how to get to the next shout.
And here is the front view with her inside. As you can see we had brilliant sunshine and it was all lovely.
I am hoping to get back to some cardmaking now but I have just put Wimbledon on so ..maybe not!

Happy Fathers Day
Hello all...
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads. I went visiting my Dad yesterday and later this afternoon when hubby gets back from work we will pop out for a bite to eat with the girls.
The last few days have been hardwork but the school Summer Fair was lovely with everybody enjoying the games and the sunshine.
NVQ work this morning...logging evidence and writing reflective accounts.
I hope to do some cardmaking today and finishing off the bookmark order.
Look out for some Fire Engine photos tomorrow!

The card is one I did for the Penny Black challenge!
Such a busy week and it's not over yet!
Summer Fair tomorrow so I will be up and out by 8.15am with the girls and a car chock-a-block.
I hope to show you some photos from the day over the weekend.
No Fathers Day cards to show yet!!!!! Maybe I could make one Saturday morning before we head off to see my Dad!

Rambling Rose
Morning All...
I am on again early as I won't get another chance today. In school all day and back and forth with children and clubs after!
I thought I would show you my latest special order. The brief was 'Walking Boots'
Not much around to fit the bill but then I spotted this Paper Nation Rambler. I added a hilly backdrop with chalks and there you have it.
Let's hope Deirdre likes it!
I finished the girls bookmarks...they just need laminating and some ribbon threaded through and then I am on to the boys.
Summer Fair update for you....The sweets in the jar is filled up and I found the Coocnut Shy poles! I walked around the field yesterday and did the stall plan.
We have Green Watch from Bognor Fire Station coming with a nice Shiny fire Engine, Fingers crossed they don't get a call out. Although...how exciting would that be!!!
Have a good day whatever you are up to!

Class Bookmarks...
Good morning all...
I have sneaked around the house and got on here before the rest of the house awake so I can do my post.
I spent the day getting some things ready around the school for the Fair on Friday. We put some Bunting up and a sign by the gate. I went around the village collecting some Raffle Prizes from the shops. Painted the Human Fruit machine. Then I sat and did 2 baskets of Lucky Dip!
Last night I made a start on my Bookmark order and did the girls ones, while I was watching BB. I'd like to do this for the 1/2 class that I am in but I reckon once I have finished this I won't want to do another set!
I have used up lots of offcuts from my scrap drawer so that is an incentive to get my Sizzix machine and plonk myself in front of the t.v and make as many flowers and bugs as I can without breaking into a new sheet of card.
There...I have talked myself into it...as usual.
Must get the lunchboxes done now and then I am doing the School walking Bus.
More chat later! Bye for now!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge...
Hello Blog friends...Phew, what a week!
I think it's that time of year when we are all feeling a little bit over worked.
I have struggled this week to keep up with all my school and home committments so blogging and card challenges have had to take a back seat.
It's end of year madness at school...Sports day, Year 5/6 production, New parents and children and Summer Fair...which all involve me doing something on top of my days in the classroom doing my NVQ. I got home on Friday and went to bed! Saturday was much of the same.
But...I did get into my craftroom this morning.
'Happy First Birthday' to the Penny Black Challenge Team and the theme set this week was 'Celebration' so what better than a Birthday Frog with lots of pressies!
I have another busy week ahead but will have lots of things to show you so come back and visit soon...

Wild Rose friends...
Morning all..
Just got time to do a quick post before school to show you a card I made yesterday.
It's the Wild Rose Studio girls...but not a bit of pink in sight...I suppose there are some ladies who don't like pink so I used this lovely lemon and lime combo!
The 'bestest friend' word stamp was a bargain at The Papermill Shop in Gunwharf Quays...£1. I bought it with these girls in mind.
I hope to start the backdrop today for Wizard of Oz...exciting!!

Iced Cupcakes...
Hi all!
Sorry to all those of you on your summer diets!
I can't seem to make enough of these cupcake and ice cream cards at the moment.
I was punching out some butterflies when I saw all the little dots on the table that had come out of the design on the wings and I thought how they would make great 'sprinkles'! So I just had to make up some cupcakes, add some glitter and sprinkle on the dots.
I used the Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla colour combo. Such a useful card to have in your stash. More cardmaking this afternoon so maybe some more flavours will come out to tempt you.

Just Magnolia Challenge Sketch
Good morning one and all.....
The Challenge this week on the Just Magnolia blog was to follow the sketch...so here is Dragonfly Tilda. I had to use my new Magenta Promarker and wow ..How bright?!!!
I added some sparkle all over the wings and around her hat and jumper. I also found some pink gemstone brads for the centres of the flowers...almost forgot I had them!
Thank you to 'CraftyHan' who has given me this Award...I would like to pass it on to all my followers. I really appreciate all the lovely comments!
Busy times ahead for me now as the end of term is fast approaching. I am painting the backdrop to the 5/6 production of 'The Wizard of Oz' this week. Look out for some photos of that!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge
Hello all...Hope you are having a good weekend.
Todays card is another Penny Black hedgehog. This one is hurrying to deliver his bunch of flowers, which works in really well with the 'Bloomin Gorgeous' theme this week.
I used my button box again with some prima flowers. After seeing Caz's flower stash on her blog..I really need to stock up!
I have a bit of a cleaning bug, I think. My neighbours son very kindly took our old dishwasher to the tip in his truck so the patio needed a sweep and clean. It's a bit chilly outside but the sun is shining!
I'm back inside now and getting some things together to start some bookmarks with names on for a class of 33 children. That will keep me busy for a bit.

Raspberry Ribbons Sketch...
Todays card is my DT offering for the Raspberry Ribbons Sketch.
It is a challenging one...but also worth a go as there is blog candy up for grabs.
The girls have sorted out a Ribbon Kit for a lucky participant.
When I saw the triangles I turned the sketch and thought they looked like bunting.
So I used my schoolgirl 'Tilda with slate' and our school blue to make a card to give one of the girls teachers at the end of term next month.
Having a day at home doing some housework today...changing the beds and cleaning bathrooms....just doing some hoovering as well. I love it when it's all done...pity it doesn't stay like this for very long!

Hanging Around!
Hello blog friends...It feels like ages since I have been on here!
June is such a busy month for me. I am whizzing through my NVQ...getting to grips with all the different forms to fill in for everything. I have another Observation tomorrow afternoon and my trainee assessor is being observed as well.
I have spent today doing a great Display in a 3/4 classroom. I am also organising the Summer Fair on the 19th (33 different stalls/games) and we have to set up a Refreshment table at Sports day next Friday, the 12th, and do a new parent tea afternoons on the 22nd and 23rd.
Not sure if I will get a lot of cardmaking done.
I was able to make a few cards last week with some Penny Black Stickeroos so I can show you those for now. Tomorrow morning is Market morning. It will be lovely to sit down for a couple of hours and have a cup of tea and slice of cake!

Top Dog!
Afternoon all...
Wow! Another scorcher of a day today!
I have spent the day with my hubby in Brighton doing some shopping. Finally sorted out my outfit for our wedding invite. I went to 'Bravissimo' for a proper Bra fitting. I would recommend that you all do the same. They had a wonderful dress that actually fits at the bust and the waist!!!
Also got some white linen trousers and a gorgeous off the shoulder pink layered chiffon top with roses around the neckline...so pretty.
Back to cardmaking, which has been sporadic of late due to the weather. I have continued to use the large paperclips to make bookmarks. This time a card for Dad using a penny Black pooch in tie stamp.
I must also just mention a new blog ....check out 'Crafty Han' in my side bar. Hannah is the daughter of a teacher who used to work at the school. She contacted me on Craftbubble and she lives in the same village. She has some great Blog candy!
Hi Hannah...the blog is looking good!

Colourcreate Challenge...
This is my second card using the Colourcreate Challenge colours...Pink Sorbet, lemon and Chocolate. So glad I remembered I had that Making Memories paperpack!
A very similar idea as the other card...just used my Tilda with Muffin this time...
We are on an Inset day today so this is an extra bonus day off school for the girls.
Off shopping first thing...I am looking for a dress for a July wedding and have a gorgeous green chiffon dress put by in Monsoon. I am just 'umming and ahhing' about the price. It's more than I wanted to pay as I would need the little shrug cardi that goes with it and then some high sandals... total cost would be somewhere near £200.
I have to make a decision today! Will let you know what I do!!!!
