My favourite things...

Good afternoon all...
I have a card to show today...Yippee!
It is made with lots of my favourite crafting things...my Wild Rose Studio kitty with flowers stamp, promarkers, Ribbon, Martha Stewart lace punch, gingham paper and mini jewels.

I'm entering this card into a couple of challenges...
I love promarkers...to use flowers
Dream Valley Challenges...to use Ribbon.

I layered up some prima flowers that I bought from the craft garden and used a WRS brad...I should also say that the papers are WRS as well.

I'm still trying to find time to use some new purchases from Florida and my DT package from Wild Rose...maybe this weekend...
Thanks for stopping by...just want to say 'Happy birthday to Scrappyjacky'...hope you have had a good one....xxx

Glee...LIVE at the O2!!!

Are you a Gleek?
I have to admit that myself and my family are all Gleeks...We love it!
Just for those of you who don't know what 'glee' is ... (You may find this post fairly boring) It's on E4...(Sky One when the new series comes back) and it's an American show set in a High school. The stories revolve around the schools 'glee' club and their teacher...singers and dancers who dream of winning the national championship. Difficult to describe the ups and downs of their lives but it makes you laugh, cry, and sing along to their fab renditions of classic and new songs. They have taken on Lady Gaga, Madonna and Britney Spears in recent episodes.
So here are my photos from the Glee Live tour taken yesterday at the O2 in London with all the cast...
We were originally sitting side on and on level 3 when ten minutes before the show a member of staff tapped my hubby on the shoulder and asked us if we wanted a better view...Er..yeah!!!!
She then gave us complimentary tickets to the front of the stage V.I.P area!!!
We raced downstairs clutching drinks and sweets...It was very exciting!!!

We were so close...it was brilliant!

They were all fabulous singers...and so happy, smiling and waving trying to reach the kids hands who were by the barricade at the front row. The security guys were bringing all the little girls to the front so they had a good view.
If you are a glee fan...hope you enjoyed the pics!...xxxx

Creative Card Crew...Wings!

Helloooo...
Ohh dear...another week without a post...not good but that's the way it goes. I went back to work and need I say more...
Anyway here is a new card freshly made just before the weekend.

The squares were cut from a lovely patchwork paper from American traditions. I have made similar cards but just used daisies on the squares...

This time I was inspired by Liz at Buttons for Brains who made a picture frame with lots of different things...
Creative Card Crews challenge this week is 'Wings' so I think my ladybirds, butterflies and bees all count.
Thanks for stopping by...please leave a comment and I will come and visit you!

Michaels...Where creativity happens.

Hi there all.
Well the house is awash with bags and clothes to put away, but priorities first, I had to unpack my crafty purchases from Michaels. A craft store chain a bit like Hobby craft only a lot cheaper...What do you think?

Butterfly tote bag...$1.40

Notebook to match...$1.40

Glitter in clear and peach...$1 and thin twine..$2.49

3mm satin ribbon..10 yards on a roll....50 cents a roll! You can see why I bought quite a few colours...In Chichester I would expect to pay 29p for one metre.

These 3Dimensional sticker packs were reduced from 99 cents to 59 cents...that's sooo cheap!!! About 40p! I picked up one of each...cakes, insects, animals, flowers, bunting, girlfriend items, birthday hats.

Alphabet stickers...15 of each letter...$3.49

Rock'n'Roll guitar stamp...$3.99. I seem to have lots of friends whose sons are would be rockstars.

Silk flowers..pink and lilac $1

These will be pulled off the stems and used with brads.
So excited...can't wait to get crafting again.
Please leave me a comment if you dropped by....xxxxx

Home sweet Home...

It's lovely to have been on holiday but o' how lovely it is to be back at home!
There's nothing like the smell and feel of your own bed...
I am fed and showered and tucked up for the night now...
We landed at Gatwick at 6.30am after an 8 hour night flight, so it has been a very long day. We have relaxed and had little power naps but tried to stay awake and busy.
I have unpacked some of my craft purchases and tomorrow I will sort out and show you my bargains...
Message for Kathy...Blogger hasn't let me comment on your blog today so will try again later.
Night night all....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
