Bella in the snow

Good Morning!
Happy Christmas Eve, which we all know is our favourite day!
Pyjama day for us, last minute wrapping and I'm going to do some baking and Muppet Christmas Carol is on tv!
 Yay!!

So here is my last post before the Big day...Bella the elephant in the snow.

These Wild Rose Studio panels have been brilliant this year!

I mounted the panel onto Red card.
I stamped and embossed lots of mini stars onto plain dark blue paper for my background.
Silver card, silver brads and some silver tinsel along with some glitter give the shine and sparkle.
Thin red sparkly ribbon just along the centre.

Close up of my embossed stars and tinsel...

 Just a couple of challenges...

Winter Wonderland...Wish upon a star

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Will look forward to catching up with you all soon..

Snow White...

Good Evening folks...
How are the Christmas preparations coming along?
I think I am just about on top of the present shopping...however the card making...mmmm!

The papertake weekly challenge this week is Snow White.
Cupcake craft challenge is Merry Christmas.
Crafty Boots Challenge...is Christmas.

I used this lovely Wild Rose Studio panel of Annabelle decorating her tree in the snow...The background paper is also WRS from Annabelles christmas paper pack and has delicate white snowflakes on it.

I used my snowflake punch is two different ways...
first to punch some white snowflakes. I then added white sequins, clear mini gems and glitter then I dotted them around the image...

Then I used the punch around the edge of the snow paper before layering onto bottle green card.

White lace tied with gingham ribbon and a red rose sewn in...

The days are being filled up now with lots of Christmas festivities...

We've just had a lovely weekend away in Oxford with old college friends, mostly eating and drinking but we went ice skating on Sunday which was very funny!

My youngest sang with the school choir at the Carol Service on Monday night. The paths up to the church were lit with tealights and the church looked so lovely.

School Christmas Production tomorrow night and more visiting friends this weekend.
Christmas dinner at school next Tuesday and Christmas party all day on Thursday!

I hope you come back and visit me soon...lots more cards and chat to share!

Bella's presents...

Good Morning all...
It's been another fast half term!
Finally got some serious Christmas Crafting under way. I have been dipping in and out with one card here and there but yesterday I got a grand total of 7 new cards done...That's brilliant for me!
I found some off cuts of lace and some ribbon and really wanted to use them up.
I have been using the new Christmas panels from Wild Rose Studio...

The paper is WRS as well so co-ordinates beautifully.

I added heart and star brads...and red gingham ribbon which I love using and will be in most of my cards this year.

Lots of glitter and this lovely sequin ribbon.
I'm very lucky to have worked in a haberdashery shop and when I go in to visit, I always end up in the off cuts bin which is literally a huge metal dustbin...it's like Christmas!!

Some challenges...

ABC Christmas...V for Vibrant colours
My mums craft shop...Bright and Bold
Crafty Ribbons...Christmas
Southern Girls...Animal Crackers
Partytime Tuesdays...Anything Goes

Hope you like my card and that your christmas crafting is coming along!

We have done some lunches out, visited cousins and aunts and uncles, cinema, a birthday party and hairdressers.
So today is chill time and eating leftover halloween cakes and sweets...

I am still working my way through the Christmas range of panels from
Wild Rose Studio.
Here is another Vintage Annabelle image...

I used 3 different papers from the Annabelle Christmas paper pack and used red to layer them on.

Red gingham ribbon tied and bowed along the bottom of the image.

Bright Red Felt flowers with lime button centres.

Lots of glitter and Red gems were added to the trees...

Baby Shower...

Happy Sunday!
Hope everyone is well.
I have had some baby cards to do and was struggling with a Baby Shower card, so I decided to do my own little drawing and colour it in...

Coloured with Promarkers and lots of glitter.

Just had to add some bunting and buttons...

I'm hoping to find time to do some more doodles and drawings that I can use on my cards and maybe draw something that could be turned in to a stamp...Will have to look into that.
Hope you like it!
I couldn't find any challenges that this would fit in with so if anyone sees any...
Please let me know.

Spent yesterday cardmaking so will be photographing and blogging them soon.
We're on half term now so will be out and about..
.maybe starting some Christmas shopping...Yikes!
