Elsie and her box of flowers...

Hello everyone!
Hope you've had a Good Good Friday and have some lovely plans for the Easter Weekend!
I'm back to show you another Wild Rose Studio Elsie card that is featured in this months
 Papercraft Essentials.

The Elsie stamp, Gingham paper and rectangle frame die are all from Wild Rose Studio.
Coloured with my Promarkers and then I added some pencil shading to the flowers and some of the shadows.

I tied a pink spot bow with narrow ribbon and sewed on a heart button.

A close up of the colouring on the flowers to match with my silk flowers.
Lemon pearl centres.

Some challenges...
Crafty Ribbons...Anything goes with ribbon
I love Promarkers...Cats or Dogs
Passion for Promarkers...All Creatures Great and Small

I've spent the day with my friend and our girls crafting with polysterene eggs and eating cake in the conservatory while the sun shined.

Will take some photos to show you later...
Thanks for popping by!

Papercraft Essentials Cover girl!

Hello!
Happy Saturday all...
Can't believe I've already had one week off work.
It's been a strange one as I've had only one daughter to look after and she's a home girl so I've had a couple of afternoons crafting while she's been busy with friends.
We've also had a sleepover with relatives, watched a lamb being born at the farm and been to the pictures to see Rio 2.

I was very excited when I went to Tesco to pick up this months Papercraft Essentials.
I had been asked by Dulcie at Wild Rose Studio if I would like to make some cards for the mag way back in February and was delighted when I found it on the shelf to see that I had made the front cover with
 this Elsie card...

Here's my photo of it...
Elsie and Roses stamp...Coloured with Promarkers and then pencils...
Floral/Gingham papers, Rose Die and sentiment stamp also WRS.

Martha Stewart Doilly punch used here to add the frilly edges.
This jewelled heart I have had in my stash for a while.

Some challenges...

Afternoon all...

It's the start of the Easter Holiday for me...
Have eldest daughter off skiing to Italy in a few hours.
First time skiing and abroad without us.
Will be a funny sort of week I think!

My inspiration for this card started with the lovely kraft tag that came off a new top..

I matched up the ribbon with some pink papers and got to work with my daisy punches.
Faded green paper with my leaf punch also used.

Lace doilly and some lovely floral and stripe papers.

Twine tie...

Some challenges...
Papertake weekly...Anything Goes
The Shabby Tea room...Pretty in Pink
Crafty Ribbons...Anything goes with ribbons

Managed to make it to The Country Living magazine Spring Fair at the end of last month which was lovely...
Getting out and about now the girls are getting older...
I've got some card orders to do this week...and look out for some of my work in
Papercraft Essentials this month.
I will be posting up all the details with some close ups of the cards.
