Mini cards...

Happy Sunday peeps!
Apologies again for being a very bad blogger!
I really don't know where time goes.

I have just finished a lovely batch of mini cards that I wanted to share.
They were mostly done in a day sat watching the tv and using up lots of things from my Christmas craft box.
Buttons, jewels, Sequins, stamps and die cut circles!

The little foam penguins and polar bears were from Hobbycraft last year.
The lovely snowflake die is from Wild Rose Studio.
The patterned paper pack is so old I don't actually remember where its from!
I made the envelopes to fit the cards and they just fold around.

These are being sent to my work colleagues.
They do look rather cute!

I'm starting another batch again now!
Hope your Christmas crafting is coming along!

Thanks for visiting me!

Frosted Butterfly...

Hi all.

It's been a 'rainy inside activity' kinda week in Sussex and I've spent a lot of it crafting and having tea and cake with friends.

So...a Snowflake is Winters Butterfly...
such a sweet little sentiment.

All products, dies and paper, are from the Winter release from
This beautiful frosted butterfly is perfect for winter birthdays and Christmas cards!

I added Sparkles and jewels which were great as they made the butterfly curl up slightly.

(I chose to use the colour Lilac)

I'll be going back down into my Craft room now...
As its just started raining again!

Wild Rose Studio...Teddy in Pot

Hello again on this lovely sunny Saturday!
Its difficult to think about Christmas when the sun is shining but for most of us who love making our own Christmas cards or who do design team work, the summer hols is the perfect time!
I have 6 weeks off as I'm a Teaching assistant in a large Junior school.

The new Wild Rose Studio releases are as usual a perfect mix of traditional and modern with a big dash of cuteness in the stamped images of teddies and animals and then for those crafters who air towards the more sophisticated card, there are the floral, butterfly and snowflake dies.

My card uses Teddy in pot stamp and the Poinsettia from the Holly frame/Poinsettia die set.
Papers are from Painted Poinsettia pack.

Coloured with Promarkers, I kept to the colours of the papers with soft greens and deeper ruby red.

Challenges for this card:
ABC Christmas...Q for Quantum leap
You could pick a theme from a previous challenge.
(I could have B for Bows and D for Die cuts
and G for Glitter!)

Creative card Crew...use Lace.
I hope you can see my white lace just running along behind the image.

So there you go...
First Christmas card of 2015.

Have a great weekend and I'll be back to show you some more later!

Sports car Bella...

Good Morning!

I'm back from my holiday trips now!
We went to a very hot 34 degree Paris and then onto a cooler drizzle in St.Ives.
Both charming in their own unique way.
So while the sun still shines I'm showing you another of the Spring
Wild Rose studio releases.
I know that a few of you are beginning to think about Christmas now so I have some new cards lined up and ready too.

This is using Bella in her car stamp and is so adorable.
Coloured with Promarkers.
I love this car and balloons as I could gloss them up.
Papers and sentiment are also from Wild Rose Studio

Challenges for this card:
I love Promarkers...Anything Goes
Pile it on..Bright Colours
Through the craftroom door... Anything Goes

Okay so as promised...and apologies to those of you not quite ready for the cold weather just yet!

CAS Bella with balloons!

Well, Hi there!
My apologies for the break!
It's been a mad few weeks at work with the summer term, GCSE's for eldest leaving school, Prom,
and being a busy working mum/wife....life in general!
I've spent the rainy day catching up on cardmaking although you won't want to know that it's been for the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas release of stamps, dies and papers!

And then photographing and social media which is very nice to do
but steers me off course quite a bit!
and then there's Pinterest!
Enough said!

Anyway, back to something to persuade the sun to shine!

You may have noticed I've changed my header photo so I can showcase the rest of the primary colour Bella and balloon stamp cards that I made for Papercraft Essentials.

Here is the lovely CAS Bella with lots of white to really make the balloons pop out!
Along with the glaze which I love using!

I found a couple of great challenges for this one!

I love Promarkers...Clean and Simple
Less is more...Recipe (using snippets)

So there you go...
Hope you are still with me!

I promise to be back soon with some more cards!

Thanks for popping in!

eyelets and ribbon.

Silver wedding wishes...

Happy Easter time to you all...
Hope you are all being good and eating choccy in sensible portions!

No...those little mini eggs have been my downfall for years!

So, whats the crafty news?

A Silver Wedding card order will be going out to Canada this week.

Difficult to photograph silver card as it looks very dark but its really very bright and shiny!
The card had to include their names and their hobbies of swimming and football!
Plus usual traditional things.
I like doing these square cards as you can include so much!
Sizzix Die cuts also got a dust off!

Some challenges:

Fab'n'Funky Challenge...Lots of layers
Crafty Catz...Anything Goes
Crafts Galore Challenge...make a card for April
Pile it on...Punches/Die Cuts

Eating healthily and generally trying to get a bit fitter.
I went for a run this morning followed by Grapefruit for breakfast!

You can see the proof on Instagram SallyannBeez

Spring is in the air...

Hello!
Hope everyone's having a relaxing Saturday so far!

I'm back with another of the very cute
Spring collection stamps...

How about some cute fluffy bunnies to make you go gooey!

I used the Peach Blossom paper pack which is one of my favourites.
Lots of lovely Apricot, Pink and Lemon tones.

Coloured with my Promarkers mostly using Ivory and a very old Cinnamon which is virtually run out but I love the effect it gives...soft, subtle blending for the fur.

I can see that this stamp is going to get lots of use with lots of different occasions.
Great for a Mothers day and New baby card!

Challenges;

I've just finished a magazine commission so there's a few lined up to show you!
Always excited to see my cards in print!

Thanks for stopping by!

Just hanging around...

Good morning peeps!

I'm back with another of these fabulously cute new
Wild Rose Studio stamps and dies!
This little Fox Cub just loves hanging around on his branch!
This is how he appears in the catalogue and he was even chosen to be on the stockists front cover.
Here's some of my close ups!

As with all my stamps I colour with Promarkers and add shading with Spectrum Noirs.

The new papers were such beautiful muted pastels
that I chalked the images edges and gave the card a
woody vintage feel.

Kraft card was just the thing for layering and the punched leaves.
I added a splash of lime green in the flower and the layered butterflies on the die.
Wooden flower button completes the natural theme.
A strip of lace adds to the texture.

Challenges:

Papertake Weekly...Bingo Grid

I think I have the bottom row covered Buttons, Lace and Bloom
a diagonal Punches, Free and Buttons.

The Pink Elephant...Happy Birthday

Simon says Wednesday... Add a little Texture
(Lace and wooden button)

Thanks for coming to look.
Please leave me a comment and I'll come visit you!

Wild Rose Studio stamp launch

Good Morning.
It's a great day for Wild Rose Studio fans as the new stamps papers and dies are being unveiled at Stitches at the NEC.

I'm still really proud to design cards for them and to be an original DT member that started with them at the beginning.
I'm going to start off by showing you this cute little panda card using one of the new stamps, dies and papers.
I colour with Promarkers and used some soft pastel shades to match the silver grey and golden tones in the paper.
Lots of lovely creamy vintage lace and peach pearls in the cente of the flowers
on the floral spray die cut.
I always add a touch of glitter to my flowers and butterflies.
This is the official shot from the catalogue.

Here are some of my detail close ups...

Challenges:
Passion for Promarkers...Perfect Pearls
ABC Challenge...Die Cuts
My time to Craft...Oriental (My Panda)

All the details for this card and all the other new products are on the Wild Rose Studio site.

Hope you come back again to look at more from me and WRS!

Anniversary flowers...

Hello there!
Oh my goodness, at last I have found my cameras software disc and found out how to download my camera so I have some photos downloaded onto my new laptop!
Hooray!
It was just a question of finding the time to tidy up and do some clearing out!
This week I have set myself the task to clear and paint my eldest daughters bedroom while she is on holiday in Alicante.
We are having wardrobes built in so it was a good time to do it!
Going from shocking pink to white and purple!

So I'm still playing with my doodles and drawings and colouring them in, making cards with them and sending things to
Stamp-press.com to be made into stamps.

Challenges:
I love Promarkers... Weddings/Anniversaries
Allsorts...Any Occasion except Birthday

Tomorrow is the launch of the new Wild Rose Studio catalogue so I can show you what I have been doing for them too!

Hope you have kept me on your blog lists.
Please leave me a comment if you can so I know that you have seen this.

Lots of love on this Valentines Day!

Butterflies for Grace.

Well... Hello February!
and hello followers ...

Getting a new laptop was great...however I am rubbish getting used to new things.
I've lost the camera leads and only just found my cameras software so all pics are from my phone at the moment.
I think it may be a new camera soon.
I have been creating new cards and have some things to show you using new Wild Rose Studio dies and stamps but I'm not allowed to show you just yet!

So this card was a recent make just before Christmas for a work friends grand-daughter.

This is using my favourite WRS dies. These gorgeous butterflies!

Papertake Weekly challenge is Anything Goes this week.
Hope they like my card.

Looking forward to getting back to some more regular blog posting now.
Come join me on
