Butterfly Bling.... and a weekend Away?

Afternoon ladies......
I have had another busy day , even though I was intending to chill!
Rushed into town at 9am as I realised that this was the only morning I had this week to get a few bits and bobs for the weekend. Then home to some hoovering and just time to photograph my cards before pick up from school..but the sun was very strong so I pulled the blind down in my craft room and now all the photos have a warm, greenish tinge! It doesn't matter on this one but the pink ones will have to be done again!

I think I said in my previous post that I have lots of these family labels to use up so I am matching up paper and card to them at the mo! I used some DCWV Luxury cardstock for the base and the layers. Sizzix Butterfly is cut from Gold glitter card and decorated with gold glitter glue and green jewells.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
1. Allsorts...Bring out your Bling!
2. ABC Challenge...'G' is for Green!
3. Flutterby Wednesday challenge....Butterfly or fairy!
4. Play along Monday...Anything Xmas!
5. Sophisticats Challenge...Wings!

We have a busy weekend planned to celebrate our eldest daughters 11th birthday which is on the 19th November! We are leaving the country for a mini break away....If anyone wants to guess where we are going......I will give a little prize out to the correct answer! I might even buy it there!
We are off to London on Friday afternoon and we go to the Theatre Royal, Drury lane to see 'OLIVER' then stay in a Hotel and leave at 9am for our destination????
Hope a few people give it a go! Thanks for dropping by!

Shopping Sisters...

Well ...It's a late post for me this Saturday evening...my last job before bed!
I've been working my little socks off today, making christmas cards and doing orders. I seem to have a lot for 'Sisters' at the mo and especially ones that like shoe shopping!
So here is my latest order.

Hand bag and shoes layered with Sizzix circle and scallop!

The 'Special Sister' sentiment is from a big box of all different family cards and was bought from QVC. You will see a lot more of them coming up especially on my Christmas cards.

I did my monthly market on Friday and I got the impression that if people are going to spend a couple of pounds on one special christmas card then they want it to say
MUM, DAD, SISTER, GRANDMA etc so I promised a few customers more of those for next month!

Well..I am going to take lots of photos tomorrow and show you some more christmas cards soon! Thanks for coming by to take a look!...Until tomorrow..

Home Alone today....

Afternoon Ladies....
Today has been my first day Home Alone for just over a week and I have been able to work undisturbed making up some card orders...(I did do some housework as well)
This card is a special order from my cousin for her step-sister.
The cute cat with flowers image is a stamp from Wild Rose Studio, coloured with PMs and shaded with a grey pencil. The papers are from the WRS Spring CD and co-ordinate so well with the stamps. They are just so beautiful and come in all the lovely pastel shades, Pink, Lemon, Blue, Green and in Ginghams, Florals and Stripes.

The flowers are from a mixed bag that I bought in The Glitter Pot. Just layered up with a button and a brad in the centre. The lovely green ribbon Ric-Rac was given to me by a friend last week. Thanks ,Fiona!

I distressed the edges and then stitched around them.

Finishing touch was this net and wire butterfly.
I am entering this card into the following Challenges:
1.Sophisticat...Ribbon and Button
2.Flutter By Wednesday...Fairy or Butterfly

CANDY ALERT!!!!

So...do you fancy some Die Cut candy?

Tilda and her sledge are back!

Good Afternoon...
I have been out and about with my eldest daughter today having a girly shopping day!
Popped into 'Wilkinsons' which has taken the space vacated by Woolworths and went to Sussex Stationers and picked up some sale card blank packs...50 tall cream cards and envelopes for £2.99! Bargain!
My card today is another Tilda with sledge and this time I have coloured her in with more traditional christmas colours.

I used a grey blendable pencil to add some shading. As it's Christmas ..lots of sparkle on the snow and her hat, wings and trim on her jumper and gloves.

This card is being entered for a couple of challenges.
1. Winter Wonderland....Jingle Bells.
2. Simon Says Stamp....All that Sparkles.
The girls are back to school tomorrow so I can tidy up the house... thanks for popping by..... please leave me a nice comment! Bye...

Girls just getting changed into their cute Black cat outfits and then we are off to the village hall for the Kids Halloween party and then back to the close for some 'Trick or Treat' and home made soup and Hot Dogs with the neighbours.

I added some punched snowflkes with white sequin centres down one side and small fluffy blue pom poms on wire down the other.
