Valentine Bear Hug...

Evening all...
I'm back with another card using stamps and Papers from the New Love and marriage collection from Wild Rose Studio.

How about a Big Bear hug in the rain?

The image is coloured with Promarkers and then layered on Red card.

I made a banner and used a HUGS sentiment Rub on Lettering, then layered this across a heart die cut.

I got this Umbrella Charm in a big box of charms and ribbons sent to me by my WRS DT pal Kate as part of our christmas secret santa.
I used two ribbons...a satin blush pink tied in a bow and a sparkly heart white organza for across the back.

This Rose was coloured in with Promarkers to match the paper.
Martha Stewart Doily punch for the lace edge.

Just Married Bears...

Hello all...
I guess we are all pretty much 'snowed under' by the weather this weekend.
I drove to school yesterday in a beginnings of the flurry...had a hot chocolate in the staffroom and then watched as it literally turned into a blizzard.
School Closed and I came back home very slowly.

It has ended a very emotional week for me as one of my friends passed away quite suddenly, aged only 39, last Saturday night.
She had health issues from birth but she was the happiest, funniest, cheekiest, and most lovely, caring person I have ever known.

She is the lovely smiley lady I have cut in half on the far left...on one of our weekend food nights!
Our Nights out and In will never be the same without her!
RIP Darling Verity

Blue for a boy...

Hello again.
Happy New Year to you all!
Hope everyone had a fabulous time over the last ten days...
I have been very relaxed...the door was firmly shut on the craft room...so much so that it was a bit like the Exorcist when I went back in this week.
(So cold I could see my breath, NO head spinning)!

I de-camped on to the kitchen table to turn all the christmas cards in to tags and will show you a piccie of those later
BUT...
Today I'm showing a new baby card...

Using very cute Bella the elephant stamp (but coloured in for a baby boy) from Wild Rose Studio.

Layered up with light turquoise blue card to match the lovely dotty WRS background paper.

Bella in the snow

Good Morning!
Happy Christmas Eve, which we all know is our favourite day!
Pyjama day for us, last minute wrapping and I'm going to do some baking and Muppet Christmas Carol is on tv!
 Yay!!

So here is my last post before the Big day...Bella the elephant in the snow.

These Wild Rose Studio panels have been brilliant this year!

I mounted the panel onto Red card.
I stamped and embossed lots of mini stars onto plain dark blue paper for my background.
Silver card, silver brads and some silver tinsel along with some glitter give the shine and sparkle.
Thin red sparkly ribbon just along the centre.

Close up of my embossed stars and tinsel...

 Just a couple of challenges...

Winter Wonderland...Wish upon a star
My time to craft...Animals in the snow

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Will look forward to catching up with you all soon..

Snow White...

Good Evening folks...
How are the Christmas preparations coming along?
I think I am just about on top of the present shopping...however the card making...mmmm!

The papertake weekly challenge this week is Snow White.
Cupcake craft challenge is Merry Christmas.
Crafty Boots Challenge...is Christmas.

I used this lovely Wild Rose Studio panel of Annabelle decorating her tree in the snow...The background paper is also WRS from Annabelles christmas paper pack and has delicate white snowflakes on it.

I used my snowflake punch is two different ways...
first to punch some white snowflakes. I then added white sequins, clear mini gems and glitter then I dotted them around the image...

Then I used the punch around the edge of the snow paper before layering onto bottle green card.

White lace tied with gingham ribbon and a red rose sewn in...

The days are being filled up now with lots of Christmas festivities...

We've just had a lovely weekend away in Oxford with old college friends, mostly eating and drinking but we went ice skating on Sunday which was very funny!

My youngest sang with the school choir at the Carol Service on Monday night. The paths up to the church were lit with tealights and the church looked so lovely.

School Christmas Production tomorrow night and more visiting friends this weekend.
Christmas dinner at school next Tuesday and Christmas party all day on Thursday!

I hope you come back and visit me soon...lots more cards and chat to share!
