One , Two , Three Blow!

Hello!

Hope you have all been enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend so far!
I was very excited to see that my last card was a winner!
 Thanks ladies!

Todays card is another one featuring a new Blackberry Lane Wild Rose Studio stamp!

I coloured in with Promarkers, scalloped the edge, then used this soft blue to mount on.

Papers are also from the same range at WRS.
Added a lace doilly and some gems and a sentiment tied with Organza ribbon.
Quite a simple sketch!
Just a couple of challenges...

Crafty Ribbons Challenge is Anything goes with ribbon

Just love this beautiful metal butterfly!

We've been very busy entertaining friends from Cumbria this weekend.
Today we spent a great day at the Arundel Festival.
Lots of entertainers in the streets, singers etc.

Loads of fun!

Thanks for coming to visit me.
I've got a few more cards waiting to be photographed so please come again!

Summer fun down Blackberry Lane!

Well hello there lovely friends!
I've made it back to Blogland.

End of term was just mad with so many things going on...not only did I have to work in my own school but the end of term assemblies/performances/open houses/leavers do's plus parties etc for my daughters two schools just took up all my time.

On the last day of term we then headed off to Gatwick and flew off to Ibiza for two weeks and now after being back not quite a week I have managed to do all the washing and some shopping and visit some friends in the New Forest for the weekend!

Just before I left, Dulcie and Matthew at Wild Rose Studio launched some new summer stamps and
hopefully if you are WRS fan you may have seen them already on the facebook page or via my lovely Dt buddies.

Yesterday I was finally able to do a bit of crafting myself...

This is Elsie with Butterflies...who comes from the new set called Blackberry Lane.

 How cute, right?
As with all the WRS stamps there are paper packs that co-ordinate with them so you can match everything up...

I decided to stamp, colour and then cut Elsie before placing her in a scallop frame.
then I wanted to create a little bit of a scene as though she was walking down the Blackberry Lane.
(All that Ibiza sun has done some good)

I raided through my stash and found this' Dear friend' sticker sentiment which was a perfect colour match.

Trusty old Sizziz die cut fence...with a cut out border from one of the papers in the pack.

Just got to add glitter to all those butterflies!

I'm going to enter this card into a couple of challenges

I love Promarkers...theme of 'Summertime'
Creative Belli...use Glitter

Well it's certainly good to be back and I have been making again today so lots more to show!
Come back again soon!
Thank you!

On the beach...

Hello there!
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the end of another week.
The sun has finally arrived!

I had another commission this week from my sister.
This time for a beach wedding card.

My sister sent me a photo that she wanted me to copy...
Not my usual sort of thing but I always like to give things a go!
Watercolour paints and Promarkers used.
It ended up being quite big.

Papertake Weekly challenge is Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew challenge is No Designer paper

I've been out on school fields most of the day today...Sports Day and Summer Fair, so I am now watching Andy Murray with my feet up but not quite relaxing!
He is certainly keeping me on edge!

Have a great weekend and I'll be back with more cards soon.
Thanks for popping by!

If I had a hammer...

Hello there all...

It's Wimbledon!!!
and it's raining...

What a crazy week of tennis.
I have been rushing home to watch all the seeds fall over and get their knees and elbows strapped up.
Great news for Andy who seems fighting fit so far.

I have been busy with some personalised male card orders...

So, can you guess what Grenville does for a living...

A couple of songs come to mind...
which is good as the challenge over at
Passion for Promarkers is 'Name that Tune'

I could have 'Bob the Builder' but I decided on 'If I had a hammer'...

My promarkers were used to colour in my wooden alphabet stamps for Grenvilles name and age.

My tape measure is from a paper chain pack from East of India and the tools were from Hobbycraft.

I'll be back with another male commission soon... and some more Wild Rose Studio cards.
Thanks for dropping by.
Please leave me a comment so I know who has visited.

Flowers, for me?

Good Evening all...

It's half term for me and my girls again and that means some
 relaxing, gardening, crafting, shopping etc...
All those things that I don't do due to too much WORK!!!

So first things first...
My CAS Dahlia Card made the TOP 3!

Yay...Thank you ladies and you'll be pleased to know...

I'm back again this week!

Another incredibly cute image from Wild Rose Studio...
This little bear has been picking flowers...
I'm not gonna say for his mum because this image would be great for any female birthday,
Grandma and Aunts, Friends.

 Coloured as ever with Promarkers.
Ivory, Blush, Apricot, Sandstone & Cinnamon.

Layered onto a dark Turquoise card then Kraft.
All the different background papers are from a Wild Rose Studio CD and I love printing off the contact sheet of squares of each paper design then using them as a co-ordinating patchwork.

The Blue Flowers I'm using here were picked up at a Craft Fair...a huge plastic bag for 50p...
(I couldn't believe it either)
The white daisies were from when I worked in a haberdashery and they came on a roll.
I think I must have had them for about 15 years now.
I've added mini pearl centres.

Some other challenges that I'm entering...

Creative Belli Challenge...The theme of Flowers
One stop Craft Challenge...Furry Friends

Thanks for coming to visit me and please leave me a comment!

Teddy and Mouse...Wild Rose Studio

Good Morning all...
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
I was able to venture into my craft room yesterday afternoon...
It seems to be a Saturday only thing at the moment...
I had one card order for a friend and then I wanted to do something with a pile of already coloured in images.

Coloured with Promarkers.

The adorable 'Teddy and Mouse' stamp and 'Strawberry Picnic' papers are from Wild Rose Studio.

I love colouring in bear fur!
Colours used are
Cinnamon, Blush, Ivory, Apricot and Blossom Pink for cheeks.
I used glossy accents on the heart balloons so IRL they are really shiny.

The Bunting is cut from a piece of background paper from the pack...
as are the little daisies...

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges...

Ready Teddy Go .... Spring has sprung
Our Creative Corner ... Anything Goes

Hope your crafting is going well.

Bunnies and mice.

Added glitter to the presents first then
I framed the image using lots of punched daisies with pearl centres and butterflies.
