Special order; Butterflies for Mum

Hello there!
Well, my Christmas Crafting was halted last week by some special orders that came in...
My specials usually come from people I know, work or neighbours.

This birthday card one came via FB so I was happy to do it.
Especially since the brief was for her Mum and included Butterflies.

My favourite Wild Rose Studio dies came into play again!

I used all three sizes of butterfly die.
Her colour choice was Yellows and Golds but I added some Greens as a contrast and used glitter card for the word MUM and the 65.
I had some lovely soft multi pastel paper that was good for using with the outline butterfly dies. It just added a touch of colour without being too hard and taking away from the Yellows.

The other requirement was diamontes and sparkle which I also love to add to my Butterflies!
I had such a lovely time making this and I'm very happy to say the lady who ordered it and her Mum who recieved it were very happy!

Just a couple of challenges for this one...

The Pink Elephant Challenge of Anything Goes

Thanks for popping by and checking out my cards.

Come back again soon.
More specials and Christmas cards waiting!

Angel with Reindeer

Happy Friday everyone!

I'm on a lovely day off today so I was in my craftroom quite late last night catching up on the Christmas card making...
I've got quite a few lined up to show you....

It's just impossible not to love all the wonderful Wild Rose Studio stamps, papers and dies and I'm so thankful to be sent all their wonderful products to use.
This little Angel has found a cute friend to help hang the christmas ornaments.

I coloured with Promarkers and added glitter.

This holly spray die is perfect in dark green with red jewels added for the berries.
I've used traditional colours on this card, reds and greens with kraft as my base and
twisted Organza ribbons tied at the side.

Some challenges...

ABC Christmas Challenge...T for tree ornament
Passion for Promarkers...Favourite colour combo...
(as its christmas, I have to say I'm a traditional red and green fan)
Papertake weekly...Anything Goes
Crafty Ribbons Challenge...Christmas Past/something vintage

I also want to say a big Thank you to the ladies of the Crafty Ribbons DT
as I made the top 3 with my Christmas pudding card.
I will pop over and collect my badge asap!

Thanks for coming to see me and I hope you're all well under way in your Christmas card making.
