A kitty tail!
Hi all...I know, It's me again already!!
I was back in the craft room today and sorting through my images and papers.
This Wild Rose Studio kitten in the tree was calling out to me and I really wanted to use this gorgeous spotty blue background paper...also from WRS.
Coloured in with promarkers and a touch of glitter on the flowers.
This silk flower was layered up with a paper centre and a beautiful big brad also from a new selection at WRS.
I just had to add some shiny butterflies hovering around to complete the scene.
I was given this wire and pom pom trim in a bag of ribbon and I just love it!
I really love the colours of this card and how well they all work together. Must remember to use them again....and the challenges!
1. Charisma Cardz...Something with a tail!
2. Flutterby Wednesday...Open challenge but must have a butterfly, fairy or angel.
3. Creative Inspirations...Anything goes.
more cards very soon!
Bye for now...xxx

WOYWW...Ice creams!
Hello Girls...It's the Summer Holidays!!!!
I survived the Year 6 leavers Disco and secondary school open evening. Done the school uniform shop and I even bought the new shoes!
Now it's time to get back to the crafting! Now here's a question for you...Do you have your scraps in different stages? I have large off cuts from A4 sheets in a drawer but keep the little bits and bobs in a carrier bag. See photo above.
I have thought about throwing it out many times but then always manage to squeeze a few more die cuts out of it.
So I spent yesterday with my tag-a-long and some sizzlets dies cutting some cupcakes and ice creams, using up some scraps from my bag.
Here are some of the finished cards...
This is a special order for a friend.....
I have just spent half an hour uploading photos...my laptop had to be set back to factory settings as it wouldn't let me log on and I ended up loosing all my photos...luckily I still had about 1000 in my camera but now instead of them being in seperate files they are all in one....best not to get started...I also have to press " to get @ and vice versa?????
I need 6 weeks off!!! Hope you are all having fun! Come back soon.....xxxx

A French wedding card....
Bonjour mes amies!(is that how you write it?)
How are you all...I can't believe it is nearly a week since my last post...I used to be able to post something every day!!!That's what going to work does for you.
So here is a card order for an August wedding in France where the theme is 'sunflowers and Lavender'. How lovely!!
Sizzix champagne glasses filled with bead bubbles and a bit of sparkle...
The sunflowers are Mulberry bush, I think, and I drew and coloured the lavender sprays.
Just enough room to personalise with the bride and grooms names.
So this week has been Year 6 leavers Assembly and yearbooks, photographs with teachers, buying wine and chocolates, buying new dresses for End of year Dinner dances and Discos.
Clearing classrooms and of course making cards!! This is still on going so I am away to get the girls organised.
Hope I will have something suitable to show you soon....meet me back here soon.

Butterfly Bliss...
Hello there!
It's great to find some time to fire up the laptop at last. Last few days of school and there is a lot to do in the classroom at work and attending parents evenings and new school open evenings....and then I just had to go to the flicks to watch Twilight....Eclipse this week.
And back to some cardmaking...I needed some get well cards and what's nicer than seeing butterflies and flowers when you are feeling a bit under the weather.
I layered up the butterflies and added some sparkle.
I just love this big yellow button as the centre of a daisy. The background green card is recycled from a packet of flowers...I really liked the colour.
Some great challenges out at the moment.
1. Papertake Weekly...'In the garden'
2. My time to craft...'Butterfly Bliss'
3. Flutterby wednesday...use butterflies/angels/fairies...with layers.
4. Crafty calendar...'Summer'....optional extra...some yellow!
Hope it's hot and sunny where you are! Pop back soon and don't forget to leave me a comment!
Bye for now....

Space Mission #2
Hi there ladies...
I'm back again with this cheeky astronaut image. This time a long tall card.
I used some blue star paper for the background and used some more glittery space dust to trail behind him.
The finishing touches were silver stars and a greeting. I have some more images from Digi stamp boutique coloured in and just waiting to be put on some cards. I seem to be selling lots of boy cards recently so I have a few more of these on the go....
Have you all been sun worshipping today? I have been in and out but have spent a lot of the day doing my daughter's washing. She came back from a week away in the New Forest with the most disgusting wet blob of dirty laundry. She went canoeing and fell in the lake!
And what was she wearing when she did this...her favourite WHITE zip up Mickey mouse sweatshirt. It's been in the wash twice and used up quite a bit of Vanish! I forgive her as I have missed her loads and she ran into my arms when she saw me and had a few tears...even in front of her school mates and teachers. Ahhh!
I have made a couple of cards aswell today...WHOAAAA!!! I know ...I can't believe it myself!
Must away and photograph them now so I can post them up tomorrow.....Bye for now!

Fly me to the moon...
Hi there!
Happy 4th July to any American friends. I am watching the men's Wimbledon final as I type.
Vamos Rafa! So, back to some cardmaking for me today.
This is Lucas and his spaceship and it is a digi image from The Digistamp Boutique.
As with all my boys cards, I like to keep it simple and have just a few little added extras.
One is the metal button for the spaceship window...
and I added a glittery trail of spacedust flowing behind. This was all the dot waste that came out of a punch!
I am entering this card into the following challenges...
Charisma Cardz...'Metal Mickey'(metal button and I guess spaceships are metal)
Dare u 2 digistamp...'The Great Outdoors' (Outerspace must count)
Glitterbabes...'Make it sparkly'
Stampavie...'Sparkling'
We are off out for Pizza soon as a goodbye treat for my eldest daughter who is away for the week in the New Forest with all the other year 6 pupils. Suitcase is ready and waiting in the hall for tomorrow morning.
Thanks for coming to visit my blog...don't forget to leave me a comment!
Bye for now....xxxx
