Good Evening all...
Hope you have all had a good weekend. I have done a bit of everything...crafting, playing outside with the girls, cooking, tv watching and I even got in an hour of Wii Fit!!!
Papertake Weekly challenge this week is 'Truly Dimensional'...have some dimension on your card so my die cut teddy for Harvey is just the job!

The background card is leftovers from a Kanban kit, Patchwork pals.

I used a few layers to mount teddy on and added a ribbon bow with a brad.
Bunny Zoes Monthly Blog Challenge is 'One for the Boys'. Any type of card for a boy...from baby to teens to older.

I love using buttons as the centres for my flowers.

Another week off starts tomorrow and then we get to eat our choccie eggs next weekend...yipee.

Thanks for your comments..I love reading them...TTFN..xxx

S is for Sugar and Spice...

Good Afternoon bloggers...
Fancy a cupcake? These ones are calorie free and you can buy them in a set of four stamps by Dovecraft.
Just perfect for ABC challenge..S is for 'Sugar and Spice'

I stamped and coloured each one then cut out and used one on each card with lots of glitter and jewels. I used a strip of spot or gingham paper to sit them on...so they could fit into My time to Craft Challenge of 'On the Spot'. Finished off with a Happy Birthday message across the top.
Totally Stampalicious have an 'Anything Goes' challenge this week and they are trying to get up to 100 entries so if you haven't entered your card for a challenge yet...pop over to them next!

I've had a nice relaxing day today...just me and my youngest and she has spent a few hours outside playing with my neighbours boys so I have once again been able to do some cards...
We are off out after tea to a neighbours house to meet up and plan the Royal Wedding Street party...Is anyone else doing one?
Thanks for stopping by...xxxx

A Woodland Hedgehog Party...

Hello!
I've had a couple of days out of the house with the family...visiting friends and doing some shopping...there was also a trip to Pizza hut. Yum! Back to some blogging today and a card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, the theme of which is 'Say it with flowers'.

Cupcake Inspirations blog have a Woodland Theme cupcake photo so my hedgehogs are perfect to enter their challenge as well.

A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge want to see 'All creatures great and small' and Allsorts theme is 'Anything but Square' so I used an A6 card.

I have a CAS version with these little fellas but it keeps posting up sideways????
Not sure why as its fine when I open it up and look at it...if I can't work it out will just post it up and you will all have to turn your heads or your laptops to see it properly!
Having a chill now and some crafting so see you back here soon....xxx

Colourcreate..Pink, Black and White.

Hello there!
Well, the dreaded lurgy got me again this week and has left me drained with a bad throat and cough, so as soon as I got in from work I was in bed. Feeling better today so back to some blogging and cardmaking. A fab colour combo at Colourcreate...Pink, Black and White!

I used my very girly and glam Sizzix stamps and set them into circles on a tall thin card...the stamp set was on sale and was under £3.

Coloured with Promarkers and I added some of my favourite mini jewels.
Another fabulous sunny day today...yesterday was sooo hot. We had an all day dance-a-thon at school to raise money for charity. Everyone joined in during the day and at lunchtime with us having lunch on the field. We made chocolate nests and decorated card baskets to put them in. There was also an Easter Egg hunt in our classroom. I came home with a few Cadburys Cream Eggs. Guaranteed to make you feel better.
I'll be back with some Easter cards soon!
Have a sunny Saturday! xxx

Did you all have a good Mothers day?

Hi all...
Just a short post as I have spent all day in Portsmouth on 'The Victory'..Lord Horatio Nelson's flagship...
I spent Mothering Sunday watching my little one sing in the school choir at our local Church in a special Mothers day service and then with the family in the garden, digging!
It was actually really nice. The photo above is taken from my wedding album and is of me and my lovely Mum who passed away very suddenly in July 2000. I still miss her loads!

So one last MUM card to show you using my Wild Rose Studio cat with an armful of flowers.

The glitter foam letters were bought in Brussels and were about 1 euro for a big bag...

Thanks for dropping by...

Glitter Daisies...

Well hello there...
I can't believe that I never got round to doing a post this week. My little one was in her school play and last night I had a table at a Mothers day pamper evening...which went really well. I sold about 30 cards including this one, a CAS card for a friend using a large daisy punch.

I punched them from glitter cardstock from DCWV and used my little jewels in the centre. I hand drew the leaves and coloured them in with a leaf green promarker.
The sentiment was done on the computer...

Just a couple of challenges today...
Allsorts Challenge...Blooming Blossoms
Charisma cardz...Bling and Sparkle
Hope you are having some nice weather...it's really mild here today and we shall have the turf going down in our garden this week if it carries on like this.
I will be in Portsmouth Docks this week with my class visiting 'The Victory'. We are all looking forward to that and praying for a nice day!
Thanks for visiting...

Pastel Millie...

Hi everybody...
Hope you are all having a good weekend so far...In between some cardmaking and washing, I have been outside helping my seven year old ride her bike. She's got the peddaling but forgets to steer. There's only a couple of small trees on the green but she did manage to smack into one of them...with all the other children and me shouting.."Mind the tree!" She is fine, by the way!
My card today is totally cute Millie in her garden.

The Colour Create Challenge is to use Pastels so I used lilacs and pinks on Millie and some lilac gingham paper taken from my new Wild Rose Studio pack..

A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge is to use Ribbon, Pearls/Rhinestones and Flowers. I punched out lots of daisies and used flat back pearls for the centres and my ribbon is some white organza tied in a bow.

Just about to tuck into a curry now so I'll say Goodbye...
Thanks for coming to see me...
