House Mouse for Joanna Sheen Blog Hop...

Hello blog hoppers!
Welcome to my crafty corner of the web...
I am very happy to be joining in with the showcase cards as part of

I was asked if I would make a card using the adorable House Mouse Juggling leaves stamp and this beautiful free download
from Summertime designs.
So many beautiful papers to choose from....I wanted to use them all!
House Mouse is coloured in with Promarkers, all available from the Joanna Sheen on-line shop...
I loved the FALL words and just had to use them being juggled with the leaves...

I used scalloped scissors around the edges of the image before layering up.

I added some punched out leaves around the edges...

and this cute wooden button and twine just underneath the image.
As with a blog hop..start at the beginning on Joanna's challenge blog and follow the instructions.
They are offering super prizes...

Thank you so much for coming to view my card and my blog...and Good Luck to all those who are doing the hop!
If you are new here, please become a follower and leave me a comment and I will do the same for you!

A Vintage Christmas card....

Hello...

I'm back with my first christmas card of 2012...
I used Wild Rose Studio Annabelle collection, which has a lovely vintage nostalgic feel with the stamps and the paper packs.

The Image is from a pack of panels, which feature 4 different designs of Annabelle preparing for Christmas.

I used a mini holly punch with tiny red jewels in the top corners.

I bought these flowers from Wilkinsons...A very cheap stem which I pulled apart...just adore them on Christmas cards with buttons and twine...

I added this beautiful red, green and gold check ribbon to match Annabelles scarf and pocket patch..

This card fits in with the 'Vintage' theme over on the Crafty Ribbons challenge

So one down and a hundred to go?
Thanks for visiting.
Please come back soon for more WRS Christmas!

Princess Tilda...Awww

Good Evening folks.
I did some crafting today, with a specific little birthday girl in mind, my cousins daughter
and I know how much she loves dressing up as a princess and making fairy castles.
I had these magnolia stamps in my stash and knew they would be perfect...

Coloured with Promarkers....
Lots of pastel/ice cream colours.
Strawberry pink, ivory vanilla, apricot and chocolate.

Cut out and layered so Tilda is sitting on her horse.

Touches of glitter here and there....

Mini daisies with gem centres.

I kept it without too much dimension as I'm posting it and as much as I love adding ribbons to all my cards they just don't go through the letter box and really push the postage up....

Some challenges....
Papertake weekly....Things that make you go Awww
Tuesday Throwdown...Gems
Southern Girls...Bling Bling
Polka doodle...Ice cream colours

Hope you like....Please leave me a comment as I love reading them!!!

X Factor,  Downton Abbey and Strike Back tonight!!!!

A Pink Cottage Garden

Hi all...
How about another Wild Rose Studio Annabelle card?
I love this stamp of Annabelle in her Cottage garden feeding the birds.

Coloured with Promarkers....This time using soft pinks and shades of green, shabby chic style.

I used up some scraps for the punched flowers...and added a couple of glitter die cuts of butterflies and flower beds.

Martha Stewart doily edge punch and a pink flower trim..slightly distressed with bead centres...

Some challenges...
I love promarkers...Anything Goes
Cupcake Craft...Flowers
The Shabby Tearoom...Summer Cottage theme plus
use the photo as inspiration..some distressing/shabby elements  and a sentiment.

Less than a week to go before I'm back to work and my girls are back to school...September is nearly upon us and the summer will be ending.
We are planning a last minute weekend away to the beach...

Thanks for visiting and I'll catch up with you soon...

Krafting away...

Good afternoon all...
Another mixed week weather wise, sun and rain most days here in West Sussex. My youngest daughter had her 9th Birthday so we went to
Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World, which I have to say was very good.

I also made the top 3 over at I love promarkers...so Thank you to them for choosing my Annabelle and her birdhouse in the Garden challenge.

My card today is another card that I made for a leaving member of staff at school...

The little butterflies were made using a heart punch as the wings and beads layed along the centre for the body with a touch of glitter.

A great way to use up some of the off cuts that we crafters have laying around our craft room...I know I have a basket with lots of bags all sorted into colours.

I recently bought some kraft card so wanted to use some of that.

It was just a case of arranging them in a heart.
and some challenges...

Hope you are having a great weekend..

Annabelle in the garden

 Hello again.
I'm back from my hols...two weeks in Los Gigantes, Tenerife and boy was it lovely and sunny and hot!
We were right by the sea with views of the volcano and mountains.

A sunbed overlooking the sea...

 The poolside snack bar...

 The Quiet Pool.

Shame that the weather here in the UK is so up and down at the moment...
(It's raining in Sussex today)

However, here is Wild Rose Studios' Annabelle in her garden feeding the birds. Let's hope that we can persuade the nice weather to stay.

Stamped and then coloured with promarkers.
The background papers from Wild Rose Studio compliment the stamp range beautifully...
I added a few die cuts around the image.

Very cute birdhouses, flower beds and some animals, butterflies and hedgehogs.

Some challenges for this card...

Belli Challenge...Winged things
Simon says Stamp...Animal Antics

Thanks for stopping by my little blog. I have more cards to show soon and if you love Wild Rose Studio then prepare yourselves for some of the most gorgeous  Annabelle and Bella the Elephant Christmas stamps coming soon...
They are adorable!!

Time for Tea...

Good evening all.
Schools Out for Summer...
Yey!

The last few weeks of term were manic...had to say Goodbye to a few teachers and the Headteacher of the village school where both my girls have attended.
Lots of tea parties, dinners, celebrations and assemblies.

I've actually made quite a few cards but just not found time to post them up...
Love all the Brit themed embellishments, papers and die cuts from Kanban.
I ordered mine from Kitty at My Mums Craft Shop.

What could be more British than our love of Tea.
This card was made for the leaving Headteacher who started off our Friday
'Tea on the field' afternoons during the summer months about 5 years ago.

So, I'm off on holiday now. I do hope the weather continues to stay bright and sunny for the Olympics.
Back with more chat and cards and maybe some holiday pics in a couple of weeks!

Keep Crafting!!!

The Tortoise and the Hare...

Evening all
Time is not on my side at the moment.
Another week since my last card, but I do have a little something crafty to share with you today.

A new school display on the theme of The tortoise and the hare.

The new year 3's have come for their day visit and were read the story in class, with discussion afterwards focussing on perseverence, never giving up how ever long it takes.
Then they wrote a goal for the new school year on a stone along the path.

Lots more displays on the go at school....and as children and hubby are out this Saturday I may get some cards made!

Thanks for visiting my little blog!

Just a little card...

Well lovely peeps...
I am showing you a quick little card that I made for a birthday.
Still so busy catching up with displays and transfer day things, end of year production scenery etc etc...

I looked through all my stash of things that I had previously stamped and found these butterfly squares.

I used them as a background...mounted them onto gold and then added a card butterfly 3D sticker.

I do have some lovely Wild Rose Studio images coloured in just waiting to go but just don't know when I will be able to visit my Craft room.  :(
Hope everyone is well.
3 weeks to go and then it's Summer???
Ha ha...xxx
Back before then I hope!
