Just hanging in the blossom tree...

Hi there...
I have had an inset day today so I spent a nice few hours in my craftroom and the sun was shining! Playing with another Wild Rose Studio stamp...this time it's the kitten's turn.
The background paper is from the new 2011 Cherry Cupcake range and goes perfectly with this image of the kitten and his little bird friend...

Even though this stamp is from last years range, all of Dulcie's paper pads co-ordinate with each other and the new gingham pack is just what we have been waiting for! I have been using my new little jewel wheel quite a lot as I love seeing them in the centre of flowers.

The sentiment is taken from a special cat greeting stamp set, also from WRS so you always have a special cat saying to go with the cat images.

Some challenges...
1. Die Cut Dreams...'Spring Garden scene'
2. Charisma Cardz...'Four legged friends'
3. Creative Belli...'Animals'
Thanks for dropping by ...please visit me again as I have lots more cards and chat and some school displays to show!
Hope you have a good weekend planned.

A Bouquet of spring flowers...

Hello there all...
It hasn't been very Spring like today...more torrential rain with a few minutes of sun. Still practising the CAS (Clean and simple) look. This time I punched out lots of little daisies from some off cuts and used little gems in the centres.

I hand drew the stems and leaves and coloured them in with a leaf green promarker then made a vase for them to to be displayed in.

Please excuse the wet glue showing...I really wanted to get it photographed.

A touch of white organza ribbon and then mounted onto a white card...very simple but I really like this one.
Some Challenges...
1. Stamping Vacation...CAS Challenge...Flowers.
2. One Stop challenge...Spring Flowers
3. Wags'n Whiskers...Use a punch
Off to do a little bit more crafting now, just a few finishing touches and then a tidy up before 'Take Me Out' starts...
Have a great Saturday Night!

Good morning peeps...
Well, after a lovely sunny day yesterday that was spent out with my girlies and a friend and her children, doing a bit of shopping and a bit of lunching...it is raining again! So good job I had begun to make some cards with spring themes. This is a digi image from the Digistamp Boutique called 'A Spring walk'.

..the background paper is printed off from the Wild Rose Studio Spring CD and the image is coloured in with my Promarkers. I have just begun to run out of my pastel colours so I spent a few pennies this week and am waiting for some new colours to arrive!

2. Allsorts...'Inspired by Nature'
3. Crafts and Me...'Spread your wings'
4. Paper crafting journey...'Anything Goes'

I have a few more display things for work to finish off today and this week I have also worked on some cards and tags for a friends recruitment company...a week off is never really a week off is it?

I was tagged....

Hi all...
I was tagged in the week...sorry it has taken so long to post it up..I find it so difficult to decide who to pass them on to.

1. You have been tagged...Do you want to accept? I sure do!
Create a post on your blog and post the blog photo.

2. Link back to the person who gave you the award...Thank you Racheal!

3. Choose 3-5 of your favourite blogs and link these in your post and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.

As the aim of this award is to bring unknown good blogs to light try not to tag people with thousands of followers.

Right so the tricky part was that I had to trawl around as quite a few of you have already received this award....but here are the lovely ladies I would like to pas this on to....
1. Mandy at crafty-angel.blogspot.com

2. Jacky at scrappyjackylive.blogspot.com

3. Lucy at hedgehogsandladybirds.blogspot.com

I'll be back soon with some more cards and chat!

A New Home card.....

Good Morning all...
Well, I didn't find any time this week to make any cards and the ones I made last weekend sat waiting to be photographed but with the gloomy weather we have had..it has been too dark before work and too dark by the time I got home.
Any how as you can see from my Award...I made the top 5 at Cupcake Crafts! The theme was old McDonald had a farm and I used a very cute Penny Black Stamp with the chubby little pony! Thank you Ladies!

So I do have a card...taken under a side lamp, the flash on my camera kept going off so the close ups were not possible but you get the idea.
No colouring in this time...just stamped the image and distressed the card with chalk...
I love this new Home stamp from Crafty Individuals..

I made it for a work colleague for her daughter. I used some Wild Rose Studio backing paper from the Spring CD...which has a lovely colour and pattern selection.

Finished with flowers and skeleton leaves...
I haven't had time to look through any challenges...anyone seen any that would fit?
Can't decide whether to go out shopping today...weather seems ok at the moment!
Come back soon and check out some more card and chat...

Love....forever growing!

Evening ladies...
Not sure why, but for some reason I have made another Love/Valentines card.

I've used lots of little punched hearts in reds and pinks and made them into the shape of a tree...just added a brown tree trunk.

The letter tiles are from K&Co. I'm sort of going a bit folky and rustic...I like it!

The Challenges as you would expect are all love based.

1. Papertake weekly...'Have a heart'
2. A spoon full of sugar...'Let's see some love'
3. Oldie but a goodie...'Have a heart'
4. Cupcake craft...'Seeing Red'
5. Allsorts...'It must be Love'
6. Crafty Calendar...'Love'
7. The Crafty Pad...'Love is in the air'

I'm amazed these photos came out...I took them early in the morning again, underneath a side lamp in the living room!
I have lots of work to do this evening...cutting out letters for the displays at school and laminating.
Thanks for popping by to see my card.
