Universal Studios...

Hi all...
It's another scorcher here in Orlando and today we have been to Universal Studios.
Hubby and I last came here 16 years ago (before the kids.

Just had to do the JAWS boat ride and the E.T adventure...



I have to take lots of pictures of my littlest with Tigger who is the class mascot at school. A child is chosen every Friday to take him home and share in the weekend adventures making entries into his scrapbook. Her class voted that he should join us in Florida...but its a bit like having a third child and we are forever saying "Where's Tigger?".."Have you got Tigger?"...Imagine losing him or leaving him somewhere. The responsibility is huge.


Still got 'Seaworld' and 'Magic Kingdom' to do this week....Where hopefully I can get a photo of Tigger with 'Tigger'!!!

Look where I am....

Hi all...
Well, the holiday has started...
Do you like the plane?..Now for someone who doesn't like flying...sending me on the Comic Relief plane with the joke red nose for 9 hours wasn't a good start! But it was a fairly smooth flight with about 15 minutes of turbulance towards the end and I watched 'Black Swan' and 'True Grit'.

and where am I....in ORLANDO,FLORIDA!

We visited the Florida Mall yesterday and Busch Gardens today...

Lemon Bear....

Afternoon all...
Another week with no time to post I'm afraid. It was my birthday mid week so I had a few evenings out and friends over last night for food and drinkies...
I did get into my craftroom yesterday afternoon to finish off some card orders and have a little playtime.

I'm really into Easel cards at the moment. They are easy to make. You get lots more space to layer up papers and embellishments and they really make an impact.

This stamp is Milton Bear with a bouquet of tulips from Wild Rose Studio. Great for colouring with Promarkers.

The Lemon papers are all WRS as well...Gingham pack and Cherry Cupcake. I added lots of punched flowers and jewels and used scalloped scissors.

Just Magnolia Challenge...

Hi there...
Hope you have all had a relaxing weekend. I painted the main wall in my kitchen 'Olive Press'. The other walls with the cupboards and units were painted last weekend with 'Rice Pudding'.
On the cardmaking front, I thought it was about time Tilda came out to play again.

Just Magnolia Challenge this week is 'Anything Goes'. There is an optional extra of Stitching and as luck would have it my background paper has some stitch lines going across it. Coloured with Promarkers as usual.

I used my last piece of lime green ribbon to make a stem for my flower and used leaf shape jewels.

Two colour challenges...

Hi all...
Hope you are having a nice Saturday! It's been a bit breezy here and it looks like it's going to rain again so how about something bright and cheerful. One of my favourite stamps is this Wild Rose Studio cat with her arms full of flowers.

My other favourite crafting things are spotty and gingham paper...especially if they are red and white.

So my card is perfect for...My time to craft challenge, A colour theme this week of Red and White...
and A spoonful of Sugar challenge.. White and 1 other colour...

I had some great news this morning....the lovely Leanne had a give away on her blg and I have won a Mo Manning stamp...a gorgeous little girl playing with her toy....Thanks again Leanne!

In an English Country garden....

Hi there!
Aww...Sorry I didn't manage any posts this week. It takes a while to get back into the swing of work things after all the time off recently.

However I have accepted a few card orders this week (from a few very good friends).
I love this set of gardening stamps and as they are coloured with Promarkers I can enter it into the I love Promarkers Challenge this week. The theme is a Song title.
So...'An English Country Garden' came to mind.



I had a few extra little stamps...the bee and ladybird which I think just add a little extra cuteness especially when they are glittered.

Papertake Weekly and
Craft your Passion Challenges both have an 'Anything Goes' theme on their blogs this week.
We had class photos today and my school is trying out a new style where the children are grouped very informally leaning on each other, some of the taller ones kneeling and arms round shoulders etc and then they get edited together all in one long row on a white background...I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Did the Easter Bunny visit you today?

Evening all...
Hope you have all had a fab day today...It was HOT, HOT, HOT here in Sussex.
We spent a lot of time outside in the garden and out the front with the neighbours watching the kiddis playing in the paddling pool and the park. My fridge has a few choccy eggs in it! Here is my Easter Bunny...

The stamp is from Wild Rose Studio and is coloured with Promarkers.

I don't often use Peach tones but it makes a nice change from pink.

Last day off tomorrow then back to work on Tuesday...then it's all systems go for A Royal Wedding Street Party on Friday...Hope the weather holds out as the rain is coming!
