Glitter Daisies...

Well hello there...
I can't believe that I never got round to doing a post this week. My little one was in her school play and last night I had a table at a Mothers day pamper evening...which went really well. I sold about 30 cards including this one, a CAS card for a friend using a large daisy punch.

I punched them from glitter cardstock from DCWV and used my little jewels in the centre. I hand drew the leaves and coloured them in with a leaf green promarker.
The sentiment was done on the computer...

Just a couple of challenges today...
Allsorts Challenge...Blooming Blossoms
Charisma cardz...Bling and Sparkle
Hope you are having some nice weather...it's really mild here today and we shall have the turf going down in our garden this week if it carries on like this.
I will be in Portsmouth Docks this week with my class visiting 'The Victory'. We are all looking forward to that and praying for a nice day!
Thanks for visiting...

Pastel Millie...

Hi everybody...
Hope you are all having a good weekend so far...In between some cardmaking and washing, I have been outside helping my seven year old ride her bike. She's got the peddaling but forgets to steer. There's only a couple of small trees on the green but she did manage to smack into one of them...with all the other children and me shouting.."Mind the tree!" She is fine, by the way!
My card today is totally cute Millie in her garden.

The Colour Create Challenge is to use Pastels so I used lilacs and pinks on Millie and some lilac gingham paper taken from my new Wild Rose Studio pack..

A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge is to use Ribbon, Pearls/Rhinestones and Flowers. I punched out lots of daisies and used flat back pearls for the centres and my ribbon is some white organza tied in a bow.

Just about to tuck into a curry now so I'll say Goodbye...
Thanks for coming to see me...

Just hanging in the blossom tree...

Hi there...
I have had an inset day today so I spent a nice few hours in my craftroom and the sun was shining! Playing with another Wild Rose Studio stamp...this time it's the kitten's turn.
The background paper is from the new 2011 Cherry Cupcake range and goes perfectly with this image of the kitten and his little bird friend...

Even though this stamp is from last years range, all of Dulcie's paper pads co-ordinate with each other and the new gingham pack is just what we have been waiting for! I have been using my new little jewel wheel quite a lot as I love seeing them in the centre of flowers.

The sentiment is taken from a special cat greeting stamp set, also from WRS so you always have a special cat saying to go with the cat images.

Some challenges...
1. Die Cut Dreams...'Spring Garden scene'
2. Charisma Cardz...'Four legged friends'
3. Creative Belli...'Animals'
Thanks for dropping by ...please visit me again as I have lots more cards and chat and some school displays to show!
Hope you have a good weekend planned.

A Bouquet of spring flowers...

Hello there all...
It hasn't been very Spring like today...more torrential rain with a few minutes of sun. Still practising the CAS (Clean and simple) look. This time I punched out lots of little daisies from some off cuts and used little gems in the centres.

I hand drew the stems and leaves and coloured them in with a leaf green promarker then made a vase for them to to be displayed in.

Please excuse the wet glue showing...I really wanted to get it photographed.

A touch of white organza ribbon and then mounted onto a white card...very simple but I really like this one.
Some Challenges...
1. Stamping Vacation...CAS Challenge...Flowers.
2. One Stop challenge...Spring Flowers
3. Wags'n Whiskers...Use a punch
Off to do a little bit more crafting now, just a few finishing touches and then a tidy up before 'Take Me Out' starts...
Have a great Saturday Night!
