Dino card and Blog birthday!!
Hello all...hope you are having a lovely weekend!
I love Sunday lunchtime...My hubby cooked Roast Beef and I have been crafting and watching the tennis this morning...Bliss!
My card today was made for my cousin to send to her step-brother and I am really pleased with the way it turned out. Mens cards fill me with dread but once I found the paper and thought about the 'dinosaur' angle...It was all OK.
One Stop Craft Challenge wanted to see you 'Make It personal' with your cards this week, adding in a name, age or any other details just for the recipient!
I used the Dinosaur peel off with DCWV patterned paper. This was layered onto some Sizzix die cut Circles. The black dew drops are from Tabby crafts.
Finished off with a die cut '40'......

Summer sitting Tilda is coloured with my PM's.
I used my Martha Stewart Doily Border punch for the first time here.
My favourite Red gingham paper for the bunting flags!

I have made up quite a few now in different colours but I won't bore you with them all...something different next time...I promise!
I am enjoying using these long/tall cards and have made a few commissions with them today!
Most of my personal orders request that I put the recipients name on their card so they are great for this!
Magnolia INK magazine dropped through my door yesterday...so many lovely cards!
I am going to be working with my Magnolia stamps to try to come up with something interesting...Well done to Susie and Tab who both have stunning projects featured.

Ice-cream dream...
Good Afternoon Ladies...
Hope you are all having a nice day..
I have been slobbing watching TV with my little one who is off school with a cold...I am also feeling bit under the weather so it's duvets on the sofa kinda day.
I've got some more cupcakes to show you but this time I have sneaked in a Strawberry Ice cream cone.
Crazy 4 Challenges have the theme 'Pretty in Pink'...Hope there's enough pink !!!
Same layout as before...tall thin card with layered circle mats and some seed bead sprinkles.
The background paper is a real favourite of mine...bought from Lakeland a few years ago it was a bargain at £1.50 for 20 sheets and I have one sheet left.
It had 4 co-ordinating designs in soft pinks, lilacs and apple green.
I have done a little bit of cardmaking today but not really done much so I am feeling a bit sluggish and sleepy...Not Good!
I am out tonight with 4 girlfriends for a meal to celebrate two of them having birthdays....Hope I stay awake!
Thanks for stopping by...pop back soon for more cards and chat!...BYE....

Fruity coloured Cupcakes...
Hello all...Hope you are having a lovely chilled out weekend....
I have been sorting out some leftover bits of card and used them to die cut some colourful cupcakes with my Sizzix tag-along! These are my most popular card for birthdays!
I picked up these tall and thin cards in the sale...a pack of 50 for £2.99!!!!
So I thought a set of 3 on each card would be good.
Over on the Charisma Challenge Blog they want to see some 'Fruity Colours'
I added some seed beads for sprinkles and used some co-ordinating circles to frame each little cake! I have done lots of different colour combinations and will show you the rest during the week!
I have picked up my little ones head cold so I am looking forward to some Nurofen and a cosy bed very soon...might even get hubby to bring me up a Hot chocolate while I watch Dancing on Ice.....
Thanks for visiting my blog today....Bye for now!!

Fancy edges Cherry card...
Good Evening all...
I almost forgot to post this card up...
I have got into the habit of doing all my cardmaking on Monday/Tuesday as I just don't have time the rest of the week.
One Stop Craft Challenge wanted to see some 'Fancy Edges' this week. I used some decorative scissors to cut the red card layer.
I have had these gorgeous red buttons for about 10 years and thought they would look fabulous with my sizzix cherry die.
I have managed to do a little bit of cardmaking this evening but now I am going to relax and watch some TV....No plans for this weekend so far...so more craft tomorrow I hope....my little one is not feeling so good has been in bed since 6.30pm...onset of a cold I think!
Have a good weekend..I expect I will do some blog hopping so leave me a comment and I will come and visit your blog...Bye Bye♥

Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Colour Combo
Helloooo...Phew ..made it back on the computer!
Today's card is for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and this week it was to use a colour combination of Blue, Cream and Gold....
This is my favourite and most used PB stamp...I love this little Honey Bee! I layered some blue gingham paper and some cream handmade paper onto a blank lemon card.
I decided to make it a Mum card and used these message labels with gold script!
Then I added lots of layered up paper flowers in the 3 colours with brad centres. My little honey bees flew all around and landed where they will!
I'm off taking my little one to her swimming lesson soon, so just time to do a cup of tea and a snack.
NVQ file is off with the internal verifier to get checked out so no writing tonight...maybe some colouring in while watching BB. Hubby and I laughed so much last night at the 'Tree of Temptation' telling Dane Bowers to put Chilli powder in the dinner...Hilarious!
Hope to see you back here soon!

Louis with heart..Wild Rose Studio Sketch
Hello!
Let me introduce you to Louis. He is one of Ducie's Wild Rose Studio cute animal stamps and this is the first time I have used him.
This is my DT card for the monthly sketch on the WRS blog.
Louis is coloured with Promarkers but than I added some shading with a soft grey blendable pencil. I have also glittered up his little heart!
This is also the first time I have used my Martha Stewart punch and I think I need to practice a bit more getting the lining up right.I must make sure the hoover is by my side as well...What a mess I made!
The Creative Card Crew Challenge 43 is 'Punch It' this week so this fits in perfectly.
I'm also entering Louis into The Papertake Weekly Challenge which is 'Pretty Pink'.
Dulcie's Sketch called for a bow and I love this wide pink ribbon!
I've been cardmaking all day so I am off now to have some tea with my girls!
More cards and chat tomorrow! Bye......

Biker boy...
Hello there..
A nice relaxing day at home today...listening to the radio and making cards.
I am showing you the last boy card I made with my 'playtime' stamp set.
I love all the boy images in this set and I've used them quite a few times to send out for my friends little boys.
Boys card really just need a good background paper and a simple button and they look great. All the paper on the 3 cards I made was from a DCWV paperstack that I bought from QVC a few years ago. 400 sheets for £14.99!
We are all recovered from our 80's night...sore feet rested in my case as I was not on the sauce!
I got a nice parcel of goodies in the post today as a Thank you for sending in an article about selling cards to 'Quick cards' magazine...a designer paper pack, some christmas stamps and a CD of Animal and Wildlife papers and toppers.
look out for some new cards made with those...
My next job is to colour in some Wild Rose Studio Cats and make some nice cards with the Spring paper CD.
Thanks for all your comments...I love reading them! Bye for now...♥

Oh..What a night!!!
Well Afternoon bloggers...
Here they are... 1980's neon, bad taste, glorious techno-colour photos of hubbys 40th Birthday bash...fab night of dancin' and drinkin' and singin!!! This is me just about lookin; as bad as Madonna in the early days.
My hair this morning is looking a little worse for wear with all the back combing and hair spray! A deep conditioning treatment is required tonight.
Hubby as Tom Cruise 'Maverick' from Top Gun. I got the DJ to play the theme tune once everyone had arrived and then for the rest of the night if you were dressed as a singer and your song was chosen you got cheered and clapped on to the dancefloor to do your thing! There were quite a lot of us as you will see in the photos...
I can't remember the order that I have put the photos on but you will see most of hubby's mates went all out...the costumes were great!
The stern guy in the suit is my brother who came as Gordon Gecko...Michael Douglas's character in Wall Street.
There were quite a few Madonnas, a Tina Turner... and lots of general loud colours!
He even got given the bumps...all 40 of them!
We are having a lazy day today looking at all the photos that are being put on facebook! Back to some cardmaking tomorrow!
Thanks for looking...Hope you liked them! see ya soon!
