A Vintage Christmas card....

Hello...

I'm back with my first christmas card of 2012...
I used Wild Rose Studio Annabelle collection, which has a lovely vintage nostalgic feel with the stamps and the paper packs.

The Image is from a pack of panels, which feature 4 different designs of Annabelle preparing for Christmas.

I used a mini holly punch with tiny red jewels in the top corners.

I bought these flowers from Wilkinsons...A very cheap stem which I pulled apart...just adore them on Christmas cards with buttons and twine...

I added this beautiful red, green and gold check ribbon to match Annabelles scarf and pocket patch..

This card fits in with the 'Vintage' theme over on the Crafty Ribbons challenge

So one down and a hundred to go?
Thanks for visiting.
Please come back soon for more WRS Christmas!

Princess Tilda...Awww

Good Evening folks.
I did some crafting today, with a specific little birthday girl in mind, my cousins daughter
and I know how much she loves dressing up as a princess and making fairy castles.
I had these magnolia stamps in my stash and knew they would be perfect...

Coloured with Promarkers....
Lots of pastel/ice cream colours.
Strawberry pink, ivory vanilla, apricot and chocolate.

Cut out and layered so Tilda is sitting on her horse.

Touches of glitter here and there....

Mini daisies with gem centres.

I kept it without too much dimension as I'm posting it and as much as I love adding ribbons to all my cards they just don't go through the letter box and really push the postage up....

Some challenges....
Papertake weekly....Things that make you go Awww
Tuesday Throwdown...Gems
Southern Girls...Bling Bling
Polka doodle...Ice cream colours

Hope you like....Please leave me a comment as I love reading them!!!

X Factor,  Downton Abbey and Strike Back tonight!!!!

Be back soon

One Stop with no flowers....

Good Afternoon all...

Well I have been back to work for a week now and it's like we were never away.
New staff and children to get to know and a new job role with some training courses coming up over the next few months.

Away from work I have a few cardmaking projects finished and ready to post up.

Olympics and Para-Olympics were fab...Open top bus parade yesterday was a brilliant ending to a great British Summer...

These die cuts are from kanban...
I love all the Red, white and blue and union jack crafting that has been going on!

This card fits in with the One Stop Craft Challenge of No Floral Embellishments!

Short and sweet from me today....
See you back here soon
