One , Two , Three Blow!

Hello!

Hope you have all been enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend so far!
I was very excited to see that my last card was a winner!
 Thanks ladies!

Todays card is another one featuring a new Blackberry Lane Wild Rose Studio stamp!

I coloured in with Promarkers, scalloped the edge, then used this soft blue to mount on.

Papers are also from the same range at WRS.
Added a lace doilly and some gems and a sentiment tied with Organza ribbon.
Quite a simple sketch!
Just a couple of challenges...

Crafty Ribbons Challenge is Anything goes with ribbon

Just love this beautiful metal butterfly!

We've been very busy entertaining friends from Cumbria this weekend.
Today we spent a great day at the Arundel Festival.
Lots of entertainers in the streets, singers etc.

Loads of fun!

Thanks for coming to visit me.
I've got a few more cards waiting to be photographed so please come again!

Summer fun down Blackberry Lane!

Well hello there lovely friends!
I've made it back to Blogland.

End of term was just mad with so many things going on...not only did I have to work in my own school but the end of term assemblies/performances/open houses/leavers do's plus parties etc for my daughters two schools just took up all my time.

On the last day of term we then headed off to Gatwick and flew off to Ibiza for two weeks and now after being back not quite a week I have managed to do all the washing and some shopping and visit some friends in the New Forest for the weekend!

Just before I left, Dulcie and Matthew at Wild Rose Studio launched some new summer stamps and
hopefully if you are WRS fan you may have seen them already on the facebook page or via my lovely Dt buddies.

Yesterday I was finally able to do a bit of crafting myself...

This is Elsie with Butterflies...who comes from the new set called Blackberry Lane.

 How cute, right?
As with all the WRS stamps there are paper packs that co-ordinate with them so you can match everything up...

I decided to stamp, colour and then cut Elsie before placing her in a scallop frame.
then I wanted to create a little bit of a scene as though she was walking down the Blackberry Lane.
(All that Ibiza sun has done some good)

I raided through my stash and found this' Dear friend' sticker sentiment which was a perfect colour match.

Trusty old Sizziz die cut fence...with a cut out border from one of the papers in the pack.

Just got to add glitter to all those butterflies!

I'm going to enter this card into a couple of challenges

I love Promarkers...theme of 'Summertime'
Creative Belli...use Glitter

Well it's certainly good to be back and I have been making again today so lots more to show!
Come back again soon!
Thank you!
