Button Christmas Pudding...

Evening all...
September seems to have passed me by in Blogland...
but rest assured I have been crafting and drawing and cardmaking and I'm very happy to say that I have had some designs turned into stamps by the new on-line company

Here is a card made with my own design new stamp Button Christmas Pudding.

I totally love buttons so a few of my designs have a button theme.
I coloured with Promarkers and then Spectrum Noir pencils.

Added glitter and glossy accents and cut out and layered onto a scallop circle.
Mounted on to layered squares with some modern Christmas papers, tied with green organza ribbon and a sentiment and a red button tied with red gingham ribbon.

As well as being very cute it's also a very good price at £3.99.
You can see all my designs on my own page
Sally-ann Baker.

Some challenges...

Crafty Ribbons Challenge...Buttons and Ribbon
Winter Wonderland...Layer it up

I'd love some feedback and some sales of course and if you have any stamp suggestions for me I'd love to hear those too....

Thanks for popping by!

Back soon with some more cards..

Red Poinsettas...

Hi all
It's Friday...
which is good as I've only done 3 days back at work and I'm needing a good nights sleep and a lie in tomorrow.
Followed by some crafting of course!

I have another of the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas stamps to show you.

This cute little mouse with his prize Poinsetta.

I coloured with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pencils.
This red pencil is so vibrant.

I like the red, white and blue colour combo at the moment.

The papers are from the Frosted Lace pack and the die is called Snowy Corner.

I love these little blue flowers on the paper especially with the added blue gems.

Just a couple of challenges...

ABC Christmas Challenge...R for Red Poinsettas

Summer Holidays and Christmas Cards?

Good Morning!
I'm back again...
Summer Holidays have kept me away from my laptop, however, crafting has been taking place in between various activities...

Desert Dune Buggy!

My youngest swimming with the Dolpins!

It's all about Christmas now to most cardmakers especially if you are on a DT for a wonderful stamp company called Wild Rose Studio.

So much gorgeousness popping through my door that its impossible not to be inspired to start the Christmas cards even if it's hot and sunny outside.

Too much cuteness!
Basically everything is from Wild Rose Studio...
Stamp, papers and dies and I really encourage you to look at the new christmas dies.
They arrived literally the day I went on my hols so I haven't managed to use them yet but the snowflakes and frames are beautiful.

Coloured with promarkers first and then with my Spectrum Noir pencils...

Organza bow and the ivory with a sparkle and pearl flower.
This postage stamp sentiment is from a set and I coloured it in which I've never done before.
Love how it looks!

Obviously had to add glitter and jewels to the bouquet!

A Christmas Delivery...

Good Morning!
I'm up early on a holiday day to show you my weekend makes...
I had to forget the sunshine pouring into my craftroom window and transport myself to a Winter Wonderland of snow ...
Can you guess what I was making?

Yep...First Christmas Card of 2014 for Wild Rose Studio using the New releases...

Paper- from Festive Wishes pack
Stamp- Girl with Xmas presents
Sentiments- Christmas Labels

Coloured with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pencils.

It was fun re-visiting my Christmas box of Ribbon and sparkles...
My glitter is always being used so I was squeezing the last of the snow one...

I decided to go for a really icy blue tone card for this little cutie...and matched up all the blue papers from the pack...I couldn't decide on which paper so I used a strip from each...

First time out for this Snowflake charm and the little silver stars are from a nail kit wheel...
Amazing what you can pick up in the £1 shop!
Ric Rac Ribbon and white 3mm satin ribbon are always in my stash.

Very sweet North Pole stamp from a sentiment stamp set which are so useful!

So some challenges for this card

Winter Wonderland...Anything Goes for Christmas

I love Promarkers...Ribbons

Allsorts...My favourite things
(My Wild Rose Studio Stamps, My Promarkers, Ribbons and glitter)

I have to say this is the earliest I have started my Christmas makes.
I usually wait until I've been on holiday!

Hope you can pop back again to see some more Christmas cards...
Leave me a comment so I know you have been...and I will come visit you too.

Passion for Promarkers...Weddings

Hello there...
It's the Summer Holiday!!!!
Oh my, I have been looking forward to this for sooo long!

Mixed bag of weather here in the South Coast of England...high temperatures one day and flash floods the next but I've spent the first few days with friends and the kids in the sun and various garden pools...with a Pimms or Sangria in hand!

So I'm showing a wedding card today.
I know I have a work colleagues wedding coming soon.

The stamp is Wedding Arch and the paper is from the Peach Blossom pack. The beautiful dies are new this year and they all come from Wild Rose Studio...

I coloured in with Promarkers and used a little bit of pencil shading for the grooms jacket and hat.

You can also find this sentiment stamp in a set at Wild Rose Studio.

 Butterfly punch, pearls and glitter.

As you can see from my post title, this weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge is Weddings.

I know we are all just starting the summer holiday season but I can't go without showing you these little cuties...

Wild Rose Studio Christmas 2014!!!!
Aren't they adorable?

I have been colouring these in so expect some cards soon...

Thanks for visiting!

Less is more..

Hello peeps!
Another mixed bag of British summer weather for us this week.
It was so hot here yesterday and today we have had torrential rain all afternoon.

Todays card is a simple one for me and features this fantastic new Peacock butterfly die from
Wild Rose Studio.

I used some glitter card to cut it out and matched it up with this Peach paper taken from a

Layered onto a sentiment panel and a few pearls along the bottom...simple!

My WRS DT team mate, the wonderfully talented Kate Wiles,
currently has this die as candy on her blog...

(Why not pop across and put your name down.)

I added some black flat back pearls for the centre body section.

I'm entering this card into the Less is More challenge which has a colour challenge of Earth Tones.

Happy crafting all and hope you find time to visit Kate.
The new dies really are something special!

Thanks for visiting me!

Elsie...Roses and lace

Happy Sunday everyone...
Just popped in from the garden to do a post and show you a new make.

I used an Elsie panel from Wild Rose Studio and scallop nestabilities.
Just a little touch of ochre chalk around the edge.
The papers are from the new Bluebell pack and the Gingham pack from WRS also.
Lace trim and a lace doilly make this such a romantic card.

I used a Promarker to colour in a light green leaf that just wasn't the right colour to match the ribbon on the pink roses.

These little roses I think I must have had in my sewing stash for about 10 years...

I'm entering this card into the Papertake weekly challenge of
Lace/Pearls.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend and Thanks for coming to see me.

Happy Fathers Day...

 HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

Hope all the Dads have had a good day!
This is the card I made for my Dad.
This great photo was taken on my parents wedding day, April 1961.
My dad was 23 and had just finished his National Service with the Royal Marines.

Great to have this image of him in his prime.

I kept it simple mounting onto white and then using this fantastic patriotic paper from
The man about town paper pack from Wild Rose Studio

I'm entering this card into the Papertake Weekly Challenge...For the boys

I've had a super ladies only weekend away with a friend...
Can you guess where?

A lovely Country Spa Hotel...

Breakfast included..

Great views...

A spot of shopping... Always time to find a paper shop...

The Wedding car....

Hello!
What a mixed bag of weather for a week off!
I've spent most of the time at home trying to get the garden ready for summer.
More of that later....
Here's a card I made especially for those couples getting married soon.

As usual, I used all my lovely Wild Rose Studio DT stash
Floral frame
Small butterfly
Wedding card stamp
Icing on the cake paper pack

I coloured with Promarkers and used some blending pencils to add some shade.
Lots of glitter and pearls...
and some glossy accents to make that car really shiny!

Organza blue ribbon and some white ribbon with silver hearts...and a lace doilly underneath for some texture.

Some challenges...
Simon says Wednesday challenge... Anything Goes

I love Promarkers...Flowers
(Bouquet, edge of frame and on the paper)

The Shabby tearoom...Lets go for a ride
(has to include something with wheels, pink flowers and background texture)

Now to show you the next stage of our garden makeover....
A Lazy lawn...

It has made such a difference and given the garden a new fresh warm feel to it.
It really feels like another room.
We still have a new table and chairs to put out and I'm also making new seat cushions for a bench.
Next step is sealing the patio and re-staining the decking area.
getting some night lights and a few plants in pots!

Thanks for coming to visit my blog...I hope you like my work.
Please leave a comment before you go!
