Boozy Santa...

Happy Weekend!
It's December!
How did that happen?

Let's raise a glass to this cheeky chap.
is one of the lovely Christmas A5 stamp sets from
The great thing about this set is that it also has a Happy New Year sentiment
and will work so well for New Year cards along with the champagne bottles.

I used Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pencils to colour in, along with lots of glitter!
I also added some glossy accents to the light string and candy canes.

Some challenges;

Hope your Christmas crafting is going well.
I'm way behind with cards and I think it will be internet shopping for pressies too!

All the best

Summer holiday update...and Sympathy card.

Hi there...
I have to admit, socialising has overtaken crafting this summer.
Which has been fabulous!

I've had some Majorcan sunshine and lots of cocktail nights and dinners out
followed by more British Summer rain.

Theatre evening and Pottery workshops and even a trip to Cadbury Chocolate factory!

Tonight I'm off to a 70's themed dinner party.
I'm hoping the sun stays next week for some more days out before its back to school!

But I thought I'd pop on here and show you some cards that I made last weekend.
Not easy to make Sympathy cards but my
Wild Rose Studio little Butterfly die
is just perfect for these type of cards.

 I'm entering this card into

I do hope you are all enjoying the weekend!
Thanks for popping in to see my work!

Raining cats and...cats!

Hello there!
Great weather for crafting I guess!
Where has the sun gone in the UK?
A few weeks ago and it was looking like the Summer break would be a good one!
I should have known better...

So here's my latest card.

Cat with heart stamp
Ditsy florals paper

I always colour with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pencils.
I thought the grey/pink/lilac was a good colour combination.

I'm entering this card into the challenges from

Well it's not quite the sunny start that I had hoped for my holidays but there's still time.
Hope you having fun crafting in the rain or enjoying some sun!

Chasing the butterflies...

Happy Weekend everyone!
Hope you've all been busy crafting!
I've had a week off school so it was perfect for inking up my new stamps from
and making a few cards with their new A4 paper packs.
I feel very guilty being inside when its really sunny so I crafted on the rainy dull days!

This is Dragon Running stamp and I've used it with the A4 Butterflies paper pack.
I cut out the two butterflies from one of the papers and glittered them up.
I like the idea of the dragon having fun running after them.

I coloured with Promarkers.

Some challenges;

Back soon with a scruffy cheeky cat!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Hi all...
Happy Mothers day weekend!

My card to celebrate Mothers day was made using
products.

I coloured with Promarkers and used Spectrum Noir pencils.
If you're a Promarker fan then do visit

I love a bargain like that and had a lovely time re-stocking and checking out some new colours!

Hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow whether you're a Mum yourself or you're out and about treating your Mum!

Have fun!

I'm a bit more of an Instagram lover than blogger of late just because its so much easier and quicker to share images.

New A5 WRS Stamp set : Bella

Happy Weekend everyone.

Well,  New Year brings New stamps and this year

have taken it a step further and produced a new range of A5 stamp sets.
Each set has a main stamp, a sentiment, detailed corners and extra stamps that you might need to create a really lovely co-ordinated card or crafty project.
So many possibilities!
I'm so lucky to be a DT member for them and  have been sent all the new stamp sets to play with!

How cute and pretty is this Bella set?

I've been playing around with some paper piecing on my first Bella card.
I wanted something really colourful for the Balloons and a lovely blue sky to show off the white fluffy clouds and lilac butterflies.

Quite a simple card for my first go...no patterned papers on this one.

Some challenges:

Have a great week and thanks for coming to see my blog!

Sizzix Scotty dog card...

Hello there.
Happy New Year to you all!!

Wow...Just saw that I never managed a post in December.
Too busy working, shopping and Christmas card making.
Just some of the cards I made and sent out!

One of my best pressies was a new sewing machine from hubby so I'm hoping to start making some nice projects on this soon.

I've carried on making Christmas cards between Christmas and New Year as well as using lots of the new stamp sets from Wild Rose Studio and using up lots of odds and ends of papers and embellishments for a set of Spring cards!
Look out for those coming up in th next few posts!

One of the presents to myself was a tartan mug which came in a patterned box.
I have had trouble finding tartan papers so I just had to recycle the cardboard.

I still love using some of my very old Sizzix dies.
They are great for some quick makes!

I also raided my fabric drawers to find some linen to match the kraft card that I used.

Challenges:

This is my last day at home before school starts again and I'm back in the classroom.

Please come back and do leave me a comment!

Thank you!

Love from Sally.
