Hello...
Another busy, busy, busy week at school so not much blogging I'm afraid.
How about another Wild Rose Studio card?
Christmas cards are still in production but I love colouring in Millie Bear with my promarkers.
The pink polka dot paper is from a WRS paper pack and the Blue and Pink Gingham is from the Spring CD. I cut Millie out and layered her so I could make an easel card.

The organza ribbon is from my stash and the ribbon roses I think I have had for about 20 years...no joke! The happy Birthday sentiment is a Sizzix stamp from their recent sale... I've used my Martha Stewart Doily punch here as well.

Some challenges...
Papertake weekly...Anything Goes..Optional extra is to use a punch.
Totally papercrafts...Animals
Deep Ocean challenge...Happy Birthday

So...who fancies winning one of the new Pickle Penguin Christmas stamps?

A bit of a Pickle...

Hello there all...
I have been making some more cards with my little collection of Christmas Pickle stamps from
Wild Rose Studio.
This is Pickle on his way to deliver a pressie on Christmas Eve and on his way he does a spot of
 star gazing.

I don't normally use black to layer but I think it looks good with Pickle. The Red Gingham paper is also Wild Rose Studio and I just love using this on my Christmas Cards.

I coloured Pickle with a mix of Promarkers and pencils. Added lots of glitter for the snow and on Pickles hat.
The black gingham ribbon is a very old off cut.

I love brads and couldn't resist using a few scattered around with some hand drawn dots and glitter.
Some challenges...
Cute Card Thursday...Animal crackers
Simon Says Stamp...Anything Goes
ABC Challenge...A is for Anything Goes

Pop back soon for more cards and chat...xxxxx

The Club Board....

Hi all....
I would love to show you some cards....but I just haven't had any time this week to make any... However....

...there is some craftiness still going on at school.

The School Club Board was a bit of a play on the word CLUB!
I don't think any of the children knew who these characters were...but I reckon a few of you will remember Fred and Dino...Captain Caveman and the Wacky races....
I really enjoyed drawing these and then paper piecing them together....

I do have a few images coloured on my desk so maybe I will get some time this weekend...although if this weather holds up I think that the hammock and BBQ may be dug out from the garage....
It has been beautiful here in Sussex...shame I have been in the classroom all day.
Have fun in the sun!

The Snow fairy....

Good Afternoon all...
It's beautiful sunshine here today...a nice surprise.
A quick post before school pick up and then the girls have dentist check ups.
I have had this Snow fairy image coloured in for ages...but finally made a card with her.
The fairy is a digi image from Prairie fairy.
I coloured in with Promarkers and glittered away, then cut out and layered her on some chalked paper and then Wild Rose Studio Snowflake paper with lots of purple layers. The sentiment is also a WRS stamp.
The very large plastic snowflake was recycled from a last years christmas gift bag. I blinged it up a bit with a large jewel.

Some challenges...
Jingle bells...using Suzi Snowflake song as inspiration.
Kaboodle...lots of layers.
Cutie Sunday...Christmas.
CC monthly challenge...Christmas Wishes.

Must dash...back soon with more chat!

WRS Christmas...Pickle Penguin!

Happy Sunday everyone....
Inbetween all the washing and cleaning and feeding the family...I found a little time gap and made a little card using my new christmas Wild Rose Studio stamps...and what fun I had!
I have never made a tri-fold card before or cut out windows...Can you guess what Pickle Penguin is doing?

Here he is peeking throught the glittery snow encrusted windows. The snowflakes are falling all around..large and small...I used white and silver glitter embossing powder for the large ones.

The blue background snowflake paper is from the Wild Rose Studio Christmas CD and I distressed the edges with dark blue and black chalk...then stamped lots of different sized snowflakes.

As the card opens out you can see the scene inside....

Very cute little Pickle skating away with the wind in his feathers...

I used a grey and black colouring pencil for Pickles body along with Promarkers in Satin, Gold and Lipstick Red...a touch of Blush and Blossom for his cheeks. I absolutely loved colouring Pickle in!!!

and there you have it...just a little card...BIG fun to make!

Charisma Cardz challenge this week is SKY...got lots of that!
I love promarkers Challenge is TRAVEL/TRANSPORT...Hope the ladies will allow Pickles Ice Skates! He is going really fast!

Off to start the veggies now for the Sunday Roast! Hope you're all having a lovely relaxing day!

Fergus with Toy!

Good Afternoon all...
The first two weeks of the school term have flown by...I'm still playing catch up with getting my cards posted to my blog...poor Fergus has been waiting in the picture file very patiently...
I made this card using' Fergus and toy' stamp that was sent to me by Dulcie at Wild Rose Studio...
I made an Easel Card and used  a new WRS paper pack called Valetta.
Coloured with my trusty Promarkers...I chalked around the edges in a gold colour and did some scribbly lines and doodles.
The flowers were taken from a silk stem...very cheap...purchased for 99c in Florida. Tiny jewels added to the centres...
I threaded some dark green organza ribbon through between the layers...and added some pink fabric butterflies...
Papertake Weekly Challenge is 'Things with Wings'...
Pile it on Challenge is 'Layer it'

I have just received a new package from Dulcie...Pickle Penguin is in my house!!!! I feel some cardmaking coming on tomorrow!!!
Hope you all have a great Friday night...I will be drooling over Gavin Henson in the' Bachelor'!

Baby Boy Christening Card...

Hello there...
Well back to the daily grind today...
I had a lovely morning at school getting to know the new children and catching up with the old ones and their holiday news. My two girls have also come out of school happy with their first day and their teachers...both of them have male form tutors this time.

My card today is a Baby Boy Christening Card commission...
The bear is made from a large die and is so lovely to put together... I used beads for eyes and made a ribbon bow.

I printed out the sentiment, name, date etc on the computer...

Cream flowers with Blue glittery brad centres and Silver padded butterflies.
