Flowers, for me?

Good Evening all...

It's half term for me and my girls again and that means some

 relaxing, gardening, crafting, shopping etc...

All those things that I don't do due to too much WORK!!!

So first things first...

My CAS Dahlia Card made the TOP 3! 

Yay...Thank you ladies and you'll be pleased to know...

I'm back again this week!

I love Promarkers Challenge is Anything Goes

 Another incredibly cute image from Wild Rose Studio...

This little bear has been picking flowers...

I'm not gonna say for his mum because this image would be great for any female birthday,

Grandma and Aunts, Friends.

 

 Coloured as ever with Promarkers.

Ivory, Blush, Apricot, Sandstone & Cinnamon.

Layered onto a dark Turquoise card then Kraft.

All the different background papers are from a Wild Rose Studio CD and I love printing off the contact sheet of squares of each paper design then using them as a co-ordinating patchwork.

The Blue Flowers I'm using here were picked up at a Craft Fair...a huge plastic bag for 50p...

(I couldn't believe it either)

The white daisies were from when I worked in a haberdashery and they came on a roll.

I think I must have had them for about 15 years now.

I've added mini pearl centres.

It really doesn't need anything else so it was perfect for

Just a ribbon knot at the corner.

The 'Thinking of you' sentiment is also WRS taken from Bella with Teddy stamp.

Good Evening to all...

Aren't the weeks going fast?

I have such good intentions to post up every few days but it just never happens. 

I have had a good excuse though.

It was my birthday on the 10th of May and I always make sure that my celebrations last at least a week.

Dinner with girlfriends the day before...then lunch with hubby, dinner with more friends on my birthday.

My sister the day after and dinner with more friends this week.

On the crafting front...I have been busy making and my new DT parcel from 

Wild Rose Studio arrived.

Teddy and Mouse...Wild Rose Studio

Good Morning all...

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

I was able to venture into my craft room yesterday afternoon...

It seems to be a Saturday only thing at the moment...

I had one card order for a friend and then I wanted to do something with a pile of already coloured in images.

 

Coloured with Promarkers.

The adorable 'Teddy and Mouse' stamp and 'Strawberry Picnic' papers are from Wild Rose Studio.

I love colouring in bear fur!

Colours used are 

Cinnamon, Blush, Ivory, Apricot and Blossom Pink for cheeks.

I used glossy accents on the heart balloons so IRL they are really shiny.

 

 The Bunting is cut from a piece of background paper from the pack...

as are the little daisies...

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges...

Flowers and Blackberry Lane...

Afternoon all...

Hope everyone is well. Sun is shining and it's actually quite warm here in West Sussex.

So, onto my card for today...

I've used a pre printed panel from the Spring Wild Rose Studio Blackberry Lane collection of

Bunnies and mice.

Added glitter to the presents first then

I framed the image using lots of punched daisies with pearl centres and butterflies.

The background paper is also from Wild Rose Studio from the Annabelles Meadow pack.

Simple but so pretty!

I'm entering this card into the

Lets Craft and Create challenge which this week is Flowers.

Actually got a few cards made this weekend so please come and visit me again!

So many Circles....

Hi there...

I've been a bit quiet on the cardmaking front due to work.

So not a card to show you but my latest  Display project for school!

 

 My brief was to create a display that showed all 12 of our school values. 

It needed to include our school colour...Burgundy and

have a religious/symbolic link.

I used my bigshot to punch out circles in 5 different colours.

Burgundy, Plum, Claret, Lilac and Spring Green.

40 circles approx per bunch of grapes.

Once put together in bunches, I chalked them to give them some depth and add highlights.

Cut out the values and added them.

Wire covered in crepe paper for the vines...

Leaves drawn with chalks and photocopied.

 

 

I'm really pleased with how it turned out!

 

One Stop Craft Challenge theme...NOT SQUARE.

Annabelle's Meadow...

Hello there...

"Urgh"

 It was back to the early starts again this morning.

No more lie-ins or pyjama days for a few weeks.

Although I'm sure the last few months of the school year will zoom past and then it's 

summer all the way.

until then...

Underneath the framed image I have used some lovely lace, gingham paper and my doily lace

Spring Flowers with Wild Rose Studio...

Hello bloggers...

I'm so enjoying my Easter Holidays...

I've completely re-decorated my youngest daughters bedroom, caught up with friends, been shopping and had lunches out, watched lots of Disney films with the girls and done some cardmaking....

My card today features a very cute and so easy to use Wild Rose Studio Spring panel... 

Beautifully coloured in for you in gentle pastels...I simply layered with spring green card and pink gingham paper, also from Wild Rose Studio,  and used my daisy and leaf punches to add some flowers to each corner.

I like the panels being the main focal point
 so I used a 5" card blank rather than 6".

A touch of glitter and this card is good to go...

Mega Spring Cardmaking weekend...

Hi there all...

Are you all chocced out? 

We've still got loads left in this house. Almost been too busy to sit and eat them.

I took my eldest daughter up to the O2 to see One Direction on Tuesday. We had a great time on Oxford Street shopping before hand too.

I'm now clearing out bedrooms as same daughter had a new bed and we're giving her double to youngest daughter.

So we're going the whole hog and re-decorating too.

New bedlinen, curtains and new colour on the walls.

A bit more of a grown up look...

So onto some cards and a little while ago a friend gave me an unwanted paper and embellishment set that was given to her daughter from a recent cardmaking magazine...

so I set about one Saturday to a mega craft session...

 

In progress..bit of a mess!

I added ribbon and made tags with sentiments...

Used some flowers and my leaf punch...

and here's the end result on Sunday afternoon.

About 20 cards made...some of which are going to back to my friend!

I may show a few of these close up in the future...

Easter Wishes...

Hi all..

Happy Easter Sunday!

We have spent a lovely day with my sister having lunch and then a chocolate egg hunt around the house.  Then a lovely fresh walk down the lane to the farm to look at lots of lambs spronking in the fields.

Here's the last Easter card to show using these great panels from Wild Rose Studio.

 They are perfect for Easter but now thats over I will make Birthday cards with them too.

Mounted on lilac and then onto plain spring green!

 

Lilac ribbon bows at each end of my Easter bunting.

 The letter tiles are from K&Co and I've had them in my stash for quite a few years.

Easter Wreath..

 Hey there all...

I've been making a few Easter cards.

I kept seeing lots of Easter wreaths on pinterest so thought I would take the idea and transfer to some cards...

 Very simply...Die cut kraft scallop circle with handmade paper centre.

layered with leaves, flowers, eggs and butterflies...

 all mini punches!

 The handmade paper was from The Eden project about 6 years ago...

I made a little stamped greeting tied with fine twine.

This is a great design for using up lots of odds and ends of paper...

I love my daisy punches and using these tiny pearls for the centres.

I've made some chocolate krispie nests for school tomorrow and got a few bags of mini eggs.

We've had a very rainy day here in West Sussex so I had a good excuse to stay inside and craft.

I managed a few Easter cards while watching 'Emma' and then a Catherine Cookson full length drama...Hubby did the Roast today.

So here's one I made earlier...

 The stamp is one of Wild Rose Studios new releases...

Great for any card for DAD...

Birthday, Fathers Day, Thank you card etc...

 Coloured with Promarkers...I used glossy accents on the balloons.

 Die cut  Sizzix clouds.

Ribbons and a silver star charm tied around the bottom.

Quite a simple card.

Pink Daisy Bear...

Hi there...

Hope you all had a lovely Mothers day. I certainly did.

Breakfast in Bed, Chocolates, Jane Eyre DVD, Bracelet and then Roast Beef lunch at a Carvery and then shopping in Hobbycraft!

 Isn't this silver charm just too perfect?!!!

Tied with pink and white heart ribbon.

 Lots of glitter. Flowers look so good when smothered in it..

Chocolate Bunnies...

Hi there...

I'm back with another of the very cute Bunny cards that I made for the 

Wild Rose Studio Spring Catalogue.

Coloured with Promarkers...

I was inspired by the Chocolate and Pink spotty ribbon that I had in my stash to colour the image to match.

The background papers are from the Love and Wedding set also new from Wild Rose Studio.

 I added some heart brads, one on the top and one on the kraft tag.

Can't get enough of these lace doillies!

Hopping Bunny...

Hello there...

Time is just whizzing by again...Easter will soon be here!

It's a short term at school with loads to do and lots of things to make...polystyrene easter eggs have been given out and hoping we can do some cardmaking too.

Just in case you haven't checked out the fabulous Spring range from Wild Rose Studio...My card today is made with one of the gorgeous bunny stamps just released...

 Ideal for Easter cards or Spring birthdays.

 Image coloured with Promarkers...

Papers all from Wild Rose Studio..so everything matches!

 I used this lovely Orange spot ribbon and silver butterfly charm tied to a Kraft tag!

 I kept my colouring quite soft for my bunny by using Ivory and Blush with a very old Cinnamon...virtually run out but great for blending!

I love Promarkers Challenge this week was Lace and or Pearls...so my lace doilly and Pearl flower centres are perfect!

Crafty Ribbons Challenge is Anything Goes with ribbon.

Hope you like my card...I loved making it and Dulcie loved it too as it's featured on the bunny page of the new Wild Rose Studio Stamp catalogue....
