Auntie Lily's flowers....

Good Afternoon and what a lovely day so far...I have been out to breakfast with a friend in the Cosy Corner Cafe by our village windmill!
Had my hair straightened and trimmed and I am in for an hour and a half before nipping to another friend for a cuppa and a chat about NVQ paperwork!
My card today is for Auntie Lily and is an order for a neighbour...

The brief was lots of flowers and her name on it. As she will be 86, I thought lots of bright colours and glitter!

Just finished it off with some bright pink spotty butterflies.
Over at the Flutterby Wednesday Challenge..Danni is having an open challenge month where as long as you have a fairy or butterfly on your card you can enter!
Mine usually have one or the other!
Lots to do challenges Blog have a theme of 'Brights' which I am linking this card to as well.
Thanks for dropping by and for all the lovely comments..see ya soon!

  3. Oh wow, I love your card, sweetie, the image is so sweet! Fab colour combo too!

To answer your question about the Mags magazine, I think it is out this month, and you will be able to buy it from most places that sell Magnolia's. As for if your cards will be in it, I have no idea, hun, I don't think that they emailed anyone back about the work that was submitted not even the DT LOL, so hang on to them for a bit longer if you can. I really hope that they will be in there, hun.

  5. This is lovely, loving all the bright flowers!

I have only ever played about with the boards...seems to be you just chose which image you want to use and place your card over it and use one of those ball dry embossing tools to go over it? Make any sense? I had a quick look on youtube but couldn't find any tutorials.
